As soon as one accepts Jesus as Savior, they are 'baptized' by the Spirit. If you were born again 35 years ago, God gave you His Spirit at that time, and promised to never leave nor forsake you, (Hebrews 13:5-6). Perhaps, you have found newness or are reinvigorated but be careful what church you go to little lamb. It sounds like you may have found one that contains 'signs and wonders.' Be as wise as serpents, but as innocent as a dove, (Matthew 10:16). There is a new movement in some churches whereby they insist you must be baptized by the spirit, even after you have become a true child of God by being born again as in John 3. Or that true manifestation of having the Holy Spirit is only demonstrated through signs and wonders or the utterings of a church full of conflicting and chaotic tongue demonstrations with no interpretation. I too am going back to church after a long absence, let's pray that you and I find the one that greater reflects the Bible and not those of man's meanderings. One time I was traveling by bus from Texas to Idaho and we came to a small stop like in Wyoming & a bunch of people got off the bus. They were dressed like 70's flower children & some with robes. One girl stopped and spoke to me and said something like: We've found the One & he is with us. Come and see. Dude, I knew in a quick moment that this was a cult. I had been saved a few years... but I got to tell you there was some kind of powerful draw, some kind of spirit that was behind this group. I had to fight it off, because there was a pull to go with them. So yeah, I believe that many of those Scriptures are literal. They will come with a powerful draw behind them and they will be like in your face evangelizing you. I've seen it for myself & I don't get out much. The girl that spoke to me seemed peaceful and so kind and innocent, too. Man, you need the Holy Ghost & you don't want to be a little backslidden. And if your feeling a little lonely or empty, watch out!!!.. There's really a deceiving Spirit that is so powerful that you'd better get real familiar with the real thing: in the Word & prayer.

I absolutely love listening to Pastor Davids sermons. I want to hear a word from the bible that causes me to be convicted of sin in my life, not feel good messages that you can get from self help books. This is undiluted teaching of God that I find to be such a large helping of spiritual bread and I could listen to his messages every day

All people are His people. He created us all. The truth has been lost throughout time. But very soon, the truth will be revealed. Be happy, be comforted, because all your pain and suffering, all your waiting, your agonising waiting, will soon be at an end. The world has not been listening you see! But, they will listen soon. Very soon!
This evil, this utter abuse of mankind, this greed, this selfishness, this disparity and uneven distribution of wealth, of the basics for life, of all things, will soon be turned around. Changed, for the GOOD! A wonderful new age is coming. When God says it will be, IT WILL BE!
God is not confined to the restrictions of our concept of time, God is not of our time. You live out your daily lives, mere mortals, with eyes that are blind shut. But the blind will have their eyes opened. The believers of this truth, will have what they have been waiting for, for such a long, long time. They have been hoping, wishing, praying and wondering when will their LORD come back to them. The Lord is with you NOW and he has never deserted you, he’s been watching, observing your suffering, while he calls each and every one of you, every single day. Every single day, in a multitude of ways, but, over time, you have simply lost your way. Your LORD God, is such a kind and merciful God. Do you think He has wanted any of this? NO!
Ultimately, the world has had to get into this disgraceful, evil, unbelievably selfish state to witness what they are capable of doing when they THINK they are in charge. Well, they think they have control, but they do not! The evidence is all around. Look at this MESS! It has been demonstrated throughout the centuries, man can NOT be in charge. So time has passed slowly, during which so much suffering and sacrifice has HAD to be made. WHY? To show, incontrovertibly, what the people are capable of and in retrospect what the people are NOT capable of.
God is in charge of this beautiful planet. This planet is His and His alone. God will step in at the right time, as foretold. The world has had to experience this misery, this prolonged, indescribable hell, in order to realise where they have gone wrong.Sadly, this is the only way people learn.
Just look at the destruction all over the planet; climate change,migration patterns, deforestation, total abuse of essential biodiversity, ocean pollution, all economies, and the Arctic is now on its death spiral. Your LORD, will NOT let this continue.
Look at all the evil, unproductive warring, look at all the poverty, the starvation, worldwide and precious little innocent children die every day. His children, never having the joy of a life that He gave them.
You’ve fallen into the trap of materialism, commercialism. GREED! You are rarely content with the simple things in life, which are free! You always want more and more. You get yourself into debt, why! Because you have to have this, you have to have that, nothing is ever good enough, you have to have the latest, you have to have the “best”, so you can show off to your friends and your neighbours. Well, that is not having anything at all. All you really need is already around you. All these extraneous distractions are not a need. They are a want. When you move away from need, to want, then you are lost. The starving little children on this planet just need some food and some clean water. What do you have in front of you every day. Absolutely everything!
Anyway, the LORD has decided. NOW is the time! Not YOUR time, but His time. The Creator, our LORD of the Universe, of all things seen and not seen, LORD of all mankind and everything that IS and everything that has EVER BEEN, will be with you SOON. Do you see the signs? Have you been looking? Have you been wondering? The winds of change are coming soon. So, you can actually SMILE. You are alive at the very time in history when the change is coming. Some of you have hoped for this, wondered about this, well your wish is about to come true. For those of you who never even think about this, well, you are in for a shock!
He WILL step in. He is watching. He’s been watching throughout time and he’s been waiting and now is the TIME!
So, what is missing? Love! Yes, love is the answer. Love is the key! Why do you think this world is inundated with opportunities to show love. Why? Because, in simple words, love DOES make the world go round. So, when there is an imbalance, an imbalance of love, and of course there is, then the world cannot turn around, exist as it should. As it was intended to. He has given you all these gifts, but still you don’t see Him.
God is love. And love is God. This is a concept some of you will not understand. But understand this. You are tiny, minuscule parts of a whole. You are tiny flickers of love in a wonderful universe which is in essence, LOVE. I’ll say it again, because it is a hard concept to get your head around. God is love and love is God and without love we have NOTHING! Nothing at all!
God has sent out the WORD, in many forms, to bring you back to him. Some of you know about it, some of you just stick your heads in the sand. What do you think your life is about? It’s not a fluke! Do you ever sit and wonder why you are here? How can anybody look at any of the wondrous things around you and think, well, so what! It’s there, I’ll use it and abuse it and I don’t care one jot about how or why it came into existence. So many of you simply just TAKE. You don’t give back and you certainly don’t revere your life which is GOD GIVEN. It is JUST there (you might say)and I am not going to see it for anything more than what it is. Yes, so many of you have no idea of the magical world that is all around you. This magical world, which some of you are starting to realise holds a secret. Some of you have already begun to see. But this is for each and everyone of you. All you have to do is listen to what your God, your Creator is asking of you.
You are so lucky! You DO have a God and we have His love and it is through every single possible act of sharing and caring, giving and loving, that the world will be changed around. This message has been sent out for centuries, but not sufficiently heard enough to change mankind, hence God set this in place, to rescue you.
All of you are his precious children. He loves every one of you. He’s calling to you, please listen!
“Since the beginning of time I have loved you! For all time, I will love you. But, you are not recognising who I am. I am your “Father”. You are MY children. I created you out of love and I want you to be happy. You are all so unhappy. This planet is my gift to you. But this is not what I gave it to you for.
Throughout time, I have sent many prophets and Wise men (Jesus, Muhammad, and so many other chosen ones). Through them, I have tried to make you see me. I am always sending out my love to you in so many ways, into the world, to make you hear me. But you won’t listen to me. This is what it has had to take, to make you see my love.
You are MY children, my little ones, who are crying, hurting so much. What will it take to make you love me?
I am your “Father”, I created YOU. I am your Almighty God who is hurting and I am calling you once again. Since the beginning of time, I have held you in my heart. Rest your weary heads on my heart now. My heart which is full of love for you!
So, I say, come back! Please, come back now, come back home, to ME!”
