With the cool sound effects from all that ice, thunder and lightning and their spinning noise and of course Dante’s goofy “woo wah wachah hoooo” 😂😂 this is an easy SSS farmtool
It's the only weapon that screams kung fu all the way. Nunchucks, Bo Staff, and Sansetsukon. All of them are weapons that are commonly used in kung fu movies.
Fire bo staff has a tipper gimmick where you deal more damage and likely to break super armor when hitting the foe by the tip of the staff on some moves Lightning 3 section staff, if enough attacks land, can cause stun The best are King Slayer and Percussion
At first playthrough I neglected this weapon while favoring the cavalier. Then in Son Of Sparda playthrough I realized it's a pretty good "chaining" weapon if that makes sense. At that same moment I noticed it's good at catching those Furies too because it seems to mostly consist of all-round attacks from all that spinning. And the Ice Age skill just parries them no sweat. My thoughts on the cavalier changed since then, only using it when the time is right because it may be heavy damage but it's heavy slow too.
I love this weapon
One of my favorite , and balrog

Most OP Weapon VS Cavaliere Boss.
Balrog and king cerberus is my favorites
Don’t sleep on cav
It gives hyper armour
King cerberus is the most versatile weapon in the game
