#46. Azure Data Factory - Select Transformation to Choose/Rename/Reorder columns in Mapping Dataflow

Select transformation is similar to select query we write in relational database languages. It is used to Select\Rename or give alias
eorder the input columns before writing to a sink. Watch this video to know more about different kinds of mapping including fixed, rule based or auto mapping.

Hi madam I have 5 parquet files i have to take only selected columns for example if a file contains 50 columns i have to take 25 like wise for all the files can we do it in single data flow? Pls guide

Yes we can do it .. are there common column between the files like a primary key column to join the files
