Painting skin (particularly daemon skin) has always been really tricky for me, and this tutorial broke it down in an easy to follow way that im now using to paint a proxy Daemon Prince model for my Thousand Sons army.
Very lovely tutorial. I especially wanted to give praise to the way you did the teeth, since the way I originally did mine (Ushabti Bone + Agrax Earthshade) made the teeth look disgusting, which might appeal to some people but was too overpowering for me. Yours looks like an excellent balance of "4 out of 5 dentists recommend Pink Horrors make an immediate cleaning appointment" while still being aesthetically palatable.
Excellent scheme and a very smooth transition between the colours. Also a very fast paint job. Nicely done. Now do some Mantic Abyssal Molochs next! I'd love to see them done in a Nurgle green scheme...
The silver tower tutorials are the best I have ever seen on UA-cam, so keep up the good work. Also will you be doing any tutorials on the arcane heroes box set? I would very much appreciate it if you did.
Very nice tutorial, really helped me out with my horrors and motivated me to finally finish them. On another note: Will you also be making tutorials for Space marine vehicles?
Strange question but when you started did you have low "painting stamina"? I'm enjoying it but I can only manage to go for a few hours at most because the concentration is taking a lot since I'm not experienced.
One thing that I find helps is to paint in small batches. No more than 5 of the same miniature at a time. Complete that 5 then move onto the next. Listen to music, podcasts or watch/listen to UA-cam videos whilst you paint. These should help with the fatigue but it will get easier with time and practice :)
it's from the pink horror kit, I think. I'm getting some tomorrow so can let you know. I don't think it;s one of the herald sculpts. it's most likely just the champion parts. I imagine each kit comes with the bits to make a champion or something similar, as well as banner-man and music-man)
It's a special sculpts from warhammer quest silver tower, that box contains 2 pink horrors in that specific pose, and they're not available anywhere else. That box was discontinued by games workshop years ago however.
Warhammerquest's latest reboot is Warhammer quest silver tower, a dungeon crawler board game, where several hero characters are challenged to over come a gaunt summoner of tzeentch's trials within the eponymously named silver tower of tzeentch set in the age of sigmar universe.
Brilliant! I've just started the hobby, I bought the silver tower set, and all these guides are perfect for a noob like me
I'm glad they are helping you start out and welcome to the hobby!

Is there a tutorial of the Firedemons of Tzeentch in planning? Because they look quite hard to make.
Very nice tutorial, really helped me out with my horrors and motivated me to finally finish them.

Fantastic :)
What kind of medium do you use for the pink horror step ? It blends well with the base.
