She sang You Raise Me Up (She had pneumonia and normally the doctors forbid her to sing, but she couldn't leave the spectators in the cold so she sang. Also sang Lean On Me from Michael Bolton. She got to tour with him after that performance. But the best performances were on the Show called King Of Masked Singers. VIMEO has the best video's and most of them are English subbed. Fans call her Queen SoHyang.
OMG I totally agree with you! I’m not christian, but when she was singing “fall on your knees” I was getting so emotional and it brought tears to my eyes! She just brings out emotion to anything she sings. I love when she takes all of us to church! Loved your reaction!

I'm sure someone already mentioned it by now, but she's a Christian gospel singer. Believe it or not, the ones you already saw weren't even her best performances in terms of showing off her skills. That's because for singers she respects, she didn't want to butcher the song too much through her rearrangement. She was also on a show called 'king of mask singer' which is also a competition 1v1 type show where she really did some crazy stuff. You can find the best videos of those performances on vimeo (also subbed in English). She literally ran the table on that show and here are the song names: Hug Me Dear Love Home Breathe Mona Lisa Few more which I can't remember right now. As the show suggest, she did wear a mask during the performances so the judges/commentators didn't know who was who but her fans quickly figured out since there's not many who can sing the way she can.

In this show, all the singers were known legend in Korea or top singers at that time, so they were too stressed by this competition. I liked all of them, but I'm also too stressed. So this survival game cannot go on. But after this survival game, similar programs like "hidden singer", " immortal songs" and "maked singer" started and spread all around the world. These programs are also competition, but not survival and winning is nearly meaningless. Next year in America masked singer will be started too.
So Hyang always sings for humanity. She is one of the few singers coached by Michael Jackson's voice coach when she was in US. She is one of the four best singers of Korea. Other three are Lena Park, Ali, and HaHyun Wu.

She had some hardships in her life with cancer in her 20's but through God she overcame. I think that is the reason I feel her songs, although secular, let out her christian value devoting to praise her talent to Him. It sounds like young but with an H in front of it. The the Hy it sounded out together. "So-Hyoung" spelled So-Hyang.The only reason why I know is because she pronounced it for someone in an interview. Also I heard a guy in a duet with her say her name properly.
