As a habs fan, I'm really happy that Lehkonen got the opportunity to play in a real competitive team. He was good with us, he's even better with the Avs.
Us Avs fans absolutely love him. I'll NEVER forget his goal that got us to the 2022 Cup Finals to eliminate Edmonton in the WCF and then the goal to win the Cup in Game 6. He's at his best in the playoffs.

I would personally like to thank the Sabres for letting the Avs go Mittelstadt mode, turning out to be the best trade in the NHL this year aside from maybe Guentzel to the Canes
Guentzel has been quite a bit better than Mittelstadt.
Guentzel is definitely number 1 as far as acquisitions go but Casey is right behind him.

I think the Jets need to remember to go out and have fun.
They are so focused on “Defend McKinnon” that they just are playing uptight, and they just are a step behind Colorado every step of the way. Overthinking it.
You see little flashes of what the jets can do against Colorado. But then they back off trying to be overly safe when defending.
They need to just go out and play with a confidence and not put pressure on themselves. And go leave it all out in the ice and play their game and take it to the Avs
Keep them in their own zone.
Stifle them… unfortunately that’s exactly what’s the Avs are doing to us so far…
Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. Rick Bowness is obsessed with line matchups, especially with Mackinnon and Lowry. He just needs to roll lines instead of thinking too deep. Also at I think the Avs are just a better team at the end of the day and have a lot more experience.
Easier said than done when the Avs have more than just MacKinnon, they have hall of famers like Rantanen and Makar, and they have other lethal weapons in Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin (who's not even playing alongside five other Avs players out), etc.

And the Jets very well might play their best possible game and still lose.
But the jets haven’t been playing their best game, not even close. They are feeding into the Avs high flying style a lot. Putting fuel on the fire if you will.
You can’t change the fact that the Avs are one of the best teams in the league.
All you can change is yourself.
Thus my comments didn’t mention how good Colorado is.
