Hello Jennifer ! Good to see you! I have a sentence .If you break it down for me , it would be really helpful... Control for level 1 are run in replicates of 5 continuously in the morning . Could you please explain , what does 'replicate of 5 ' mean ??
That sounds like a really technical sentence. Is it related to computer programming? I guess they mean in batches of five. The procedure is done in sets of five.
Sometimes,AI platform like Chat Gpt is providing incorrect answers so i am not relying on AI completely to learn anything as of now...I believe that every technology has pros and cons...
Yes, in one of my recent shorts, I teach the word "hallucinations." ChatGPT can produce incorrect information. But in terms of generating a quick practice exercise with ten new vocabulary words at a specific level, AI can be very helpful. :)
Miss, Jennifer , Mohamed Here < Do You Remember Me , I am The One Who Capitalize Each Beginning Of The Word , Please Answer My Questions , I am Learning English Just To Take The OSSU Computer Science Course And Its In English And I Only Want To Understand What They Say In The Video So Should I Focus In Listening Skills Only ?? Or Should I Focus In Listening , Speaking , Reading , Writing , etc... And If I should Focus In Listening Skills Only So How Much It Takes To Me To Understand Their Speech And How Can I Understand Fast Speech I Understand You ( Not Completely ) But I Understand You Because You Talk Slower And Slower And Your Speech Is Clear So What Should I Do ?!
Exam or no exam, if you want to be proficient in a language, you need to focus on all skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Listening is connected to grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. You can use my Fast Speech videos to understand the patterns people follow in relaxed conversation. You might also enjoy and benefit from the Oral Reading Fluency videos because you'll start to see how speech is broken into thought groups (which I mark with slashes). You can focus on understanding one thought group at a time. www.englishwithjennifer.com/students/yt-videos/ You can download my free Movie Power Pack and also use that for additional listening practice. I include transcripts. english-with-jennifer.ck.page/5aa13c6899
This is a terrific lesson. I must confess to being adverse to using Chat GTP to assist in my writing. Over the past few months, my opinion has changed, for it is very good at answering grammar questions. However, I would never ask it to write a paragraph or a story. That is bit like cheating or copying someone else's work. Imagine books that are entirely created by artificial intelligence? By rights, an author would be unable take the credit.
Wow! Thank you for the generous support. I agree with you. I'll do my own creative writing, thank you! Like you, I enjoy the process of writing, but ChatGPT can be an assistant in many ways. For learners, it's helpful with corrections and rephrasing. For native speakers and especially teachers, it can help with exercise creation. I've demonstrated how ChatGPT can come up with poems and little narratives to target a language point or key vocabulary. I'm transparent when I use ChatGPT this way. But when it really counts (publishing a book, an article, or a blog post), authors need to present original work.

@@Englishwithjennifer I also worry about students using Chat GTP to complete their homework. Modern technology does have its disadvantages.
Yes, clear policies have to be made and followed in schools.
