Yes and no. If buyers pause their buying, that alone is enough to cause panic among sellers to increase listing . We have wait and see what spring holds. Prices are definitely not decreasing significantly in any scenario except for the CMHC . Lol

Nope. Buy now and buy what you can afford. Free advise
It’s hard to tell. The government could do something to cool the market but all it will do is affect affordability. So if you’re buying with a Mortgage it probably won’t make too much of a difference.
