The mimic is such a well done game, the devs did such an incredble job that it could honestly be its own video game! Super excited to watch them play more video games and continue this series as the chapters come out :D

These demons were released onto the earth and caused chaos wherever they went with death count in the hundreds, possibly even thousands. However their rampage was heard of by a master samurai by the name of Kusonoki Masashige. This master samurai could not defeat these demons alone however, and had to make a deal with the same eldritch god who created these demons and gained the power to defeat these demons with a price that has not been revealed. Kusonoki fought the demons long and hard for 10 days and nights, fortunately the samurai prevailed and trapped these demons. Control was send to the east where she could not feast. Jealousy was ent to the sea, part of a forgotten legacy. Rage was sent to its strongest cage, gnawing on the bars. And Rebirth was sent deep into the earth watching the world in reverse. However while control was being imprisoned she revealed to Kusonoki that she had his beloved daughter hostage. She threatened to torture and kill his daughter unless he became her puppet, he agreed as he did not want to see his daughter be murdered by this monster. But turns out control had double crossed Kusonoki, as soon as she had turned Kusonoki into her puppet she turned his daughter Into her puppet as well just before she was locked away. A few hundred years pass and a descendant of Kusonoki named Hiachi is playing in the woods and she found a doll, she loved it and named it Shaku, unbeknownst to her shaku was actually Kusonokis daughter turned into a doll by control in order to draw Hiachi to her prison. Eventually she found the prison and started talking to control, control lied that she was locked away due to a misunderstanding and they became friends, Hiach named her Sama as she looked like her mother but slightly different. Hiachi was perfectly content with what she had in life, she had her mother,she had Shaku and she had Sama. But however one day when Hiachi went to play with Sama, Sama asked her to free her from her prison so they could live together and not be confined to the prison (prison is a Sakura tree btw). Hiachi basically had Sama as a 2nd maternal figure so she let her out, but of course this is control we are talking about. In 2021 she found a family of three, and the son went by the name of Yasu Masashige who is the player, who for some reason control could not turn into a puppet. To “compensate” she killed his friends and turned his parents into puppets while dragging Yasu into her dimension, tormenting him with her puppets and a crap ton of mazes. However control got cocky and left Kusonokis soul unguarded. What remained of Kusonokis will guided Yasu to the pieces needed to set his soul free. He did this and Kusonoki gave Yasu his katana which was capable of weakening and killing control. After a long and brutal fight control fell to Yasu’s mercy and begged for her life saying that if he let live she would free his parents. However Yasu was not convinced and executed control. The arm of the eldritch god came from the ground and carried away controls corpse calling her a “useless tool”. After which Yasu woke and rushed to his parents, they were still alive and his life was back (minus his friends) and control was finally dead. -END OF BOOK 1 AND PROLOGUE-

This boss fight seemed leagues better than their first attempt, and that final cutscene was actually really cool! They're seriously improving! Prolly my favorite part of Roblox is seeing devs really going at it, especially with all the sewage piling on the front page
