I chose the Tribit Micro 2 for 3 reasons that the JBL does not do. 1: Built in Speaker for use as a speakerphone. 2: Can be paired for stereo use (great set for my laptop). 3: can be used as a battery bank. It is just more useful. for me, that makes up for any sound quality differences.
Nice bud I’m glad that you are enjoying it. That is the perfect speaker for you just clip to the bag and good to go. Can even get a portable charger to have a long battery life as well when you out all day.

To me JBL presents it in the way musician would easily love. Dont get me wrong, Tribit Stormbox Micro is amazing. But it is just not my cup of tea.
Tribit Stormbox Mini does not handle the detail of mid-highs and highs, instrumental and cymbals as well as Clip 4. Clip 4 does not reproduce low bass as well, but the bass itself in Clip 4 is neat and even, does not float through notes with different volumes in bass guitar, for example, or electronic samples. Clip 4 due to the more prominent different musical instruments - strings, keyboards, winds and cymbals - vocals seem a little muted. Because vocals are not dominated by midbass like in Tribit. I will say this, Tribit plays well, maybe pop and dance lovers will like it, and Clip 4 focuses on instrumental - classical, rock, metal and melodic electronics. I chose Clip 4 deliberately for my own feelings, not for the sound from different videos. 🙂
Well said, if you want to listen to bass music, which I hate, then maybe… if you listen to Good music, Rock , Jazz , then JBL reproduce much more detail!!
I just bought the Tribit and it has been an incredibly pleasant surprise replacing my Braven 405. JBL does sound a little cleaner, but that volume and overall sound depth is no joke with the Tribit. Great indoor/outdoor blind-fold experience vid!!
