What I learnt from this lecture .it's this. We have to be enthusiastic in first place.we must keep this spirit alive..we must leave the association of non devotees. Try to avail the opportunity to be in association of devotees.go to temple on Sunday.speak to your deities they will give you response. Offer them what ever you prepare.from the story of Brahman we can pray through bhav in imagination. He imagined he has beautiful radha Krishna seated on a throne embedded with jewels. Once he prepared kheer in his heart.when tried to see if it was hot .his finger got burnt.so we can please Krishna by our true devotion be it in your thought.some say we do jaap silently in heart.but prabhupad said when you are hungry ,if you eating imagination will your hunger be satisfied.they said no. Prabhupad pointed then how can your jaap be completed if you just murmer in heart.say it loudly let your ear hear the Maha mantra.so that when in last hour of your life it easily comes on your heart and lips.mann is very chanchal.keep it in Check by reading shastra,offer what ever you cook to Krishna. He can eat with any of his senses. So need of the hour is to be the go near God by going to temple,friendship with devotees and follow instruction of shiksa guru and diksha guru.

Guru Maharaj I was learning this shalok for bhakti shastri shaloka test from updeshamrit. But I was not able to retain in memory.but after hearing your lecture I saw you were explaining same shalok. I heard full lecture and by the time the lecture ended I had memorized this shalok. Hare Krishna.
