It's a bit far to travel but even today I would just love to explore such sites to work out what the factory was used for, it was like scuba diving going down on a wreck to find out what type of vessel it was.
Great explore Mick one thought if I lived close to Cinderford and I was unemployed I would spend most of my day if not days in these clearly abandoned sites stripping out metal and then selling on to a scrap yard. I did this with a young homeless couple living in a transit van with also a transit tipper, all they needed was a set of spanners hammer and a battery grinder and they were making £100-£150 a day. Is it theft well yes and no, only if you get caught by someone who is against someone making a living. Oh by the way taking all those photo's are you going to publish a book maybe??
Awesome explore! The place was huge! 👍🏻
