I just recently bought a 2021 STX ranger, absolutely love it. Only had it for a short period of time but there were no issues from the previous owner either
I have a 2023 and I have already went through a set of rear brakes cause they were sticking and I’m currently waiting on a new rear end cause it went . And waiting on parts for up to 2 months !
Transmissions issue abound! Many many people have Tranny issues (no not like SF Trannys) trans slams into gear, dealers taking 3-4 weeks to repair. What a pain.
2021 ranger only 58 thousand miles on it, transmission just we g out, took to Ford they said need new trans a d converter.ps I had the fluid flushed and filter cha be at 30 thousand
42k miles on my 20 Ranger xlt and on its 3rd transmission. Been at the dealership for repairs as long as it’s been in my garage. I’ll never buy another Ford.
Wait till you buy another brand and find out that they all have major issues with transmissions as well. Older vehicles have better trannys and last longer
I just saw that. Tons of issues over in Australia. Ford even replaced 9 trucks that they could not figure out how to fix. The other day CEO Jim Farley of Ford said that quality control was their biggest issue and concern and they just spent 2 billion dollars payout on warranty issues. He said it will take YEARS to fix the QC issues. I was looking forward to the next gen ranger but I'm not interested anymore. Lots of tech and promise here but Ford can't deliver all that reliably. Something can be said for my old school pro 4 X Frontier with port injected motor, hydraulic steering and old school 5 speed with dana 44 rear locking diff. Back in those days you just keep up with the fluids and they run for 200K miles or more without issue. No wonder the 4 runner has record sales. Old as the hills but that too sports an old school 4 liter port injected motor and 5 speed. In short, they don't make them as good as they used to. I'm speaking of the North American models.
@@HiPlains1 we got a refund here in South Africa after buying the the latest 2023 next generation ford ranger wildtrak and just after 1349km the car started giving issue the stop started failed turbo error fault codes and that huge screen died on us we replaced it with a toyota hilux V6 4.0 even our first bakkie the 2022 Isuzu dmax that we bought in October did 14070km zero issue
Shame ford is such a down hill slide. 1:05 Immagine smoke from the fire makes breathing in the cab hard... Wtf??? Ppl are nuts. P667 of owners manual clearly states to exit vehicle immediately upon engine fires. People not read???
45k miles in on my 2021 ranger xl without a single problem. love my ranger

75K miles on mine. No issues at all. Do your maintenance ppl!
How come only 3 recalls not related to oil and gas leak
I own a 2023 ranger with 2800 kilometers and already have a differential and vibration problem ,big time buyer remorse

All I heard is if you buy a ranger make sure you have warranty’s and those aren’t even helpful sometimes.
@@hipetwa better just get a hilux
