I think since honing is really expensive, it would be far better to wait a little for the next Legion Raid and start catching up on the continents. The newest continent in KR is available at 1520 ilvl which is definitely doable even here. So working on releasing Elgacia, Pleccia and Voldis would make more sense than releasing another Legion raid that requires you to sell your last kidney to afford honing that much.
4 months, mean time to farm gold. no pressure no rush. that is the time to collecting mats, collecting engraving books, and push a week before update. thats how i play
@@Jerei1 oh yea, right! i can make level 7 gems with 5 alts around 4 or 5 days. if im not lazy doing chaos and bossrush on all of them. damn it, by that time i probably have all level 10 gems for main!! goddammit, thank you for reminding me. i have 5 alts, but rarely playing them. because you know..
if your roster is 6 chars and all 1500 or above… in 4 months u will earn 1.7M raw gold just from dungeons ( no lucky drops included )… and you need less then 1M gold from 1500 -> 1580
And with all the new sources of stuff prices are in a good spot rn. I'm ppl are crying about it but realistically it's a good thing because 100k+for a legendary engraving book set is absolutely absurd and rly gates new players hard. Ppl just mad like always when things get easier cuz they did it when it wasn't so everyone else should have to as well kinda mentality
@@Jerei1 highlight this shit cuz the amount of ppl I see in pugs with trash gems blows my mind. Your sacrificing sooo much dmg just so u can try to hone a couple times more each week.imo once u get to vykas ish lvls gems and engravings over ilvl all day
1590 is like the maximum affordable solution at the moment, but 1580 is fine too. I am currently 1580, but I will probably push to 1590 just to be a bit overgeared for Kayangel/Akkan.
Idk why everyone is so hyped about Akkan. We just got Brel hard and we still have people unable to clear Brel normal…got jailed in g6 last week with 3 different parties almost all with fking titles but no brain….I had no more time to clear it and that would’ve been my title…not that important for me, but apparently to some idiots that live with impression that a bunch of words will play the raid for you….
@@nanoSam Paladin's heal is subpar unfortunately. Shields are good. Best healer in this game remains the Bard. The problem though is that the player base does not know how to properly collaborate and and capitalize on their supports. Certain classes work better with Bard/Paladin/Artist. Also, Artist is a good support, people just do not know how to play it and it is the support type that requires more investment and less braindead gameplay. Artist has better stagger/destruction skills than both Bard and Paladin, the Heal is good too, better than Paladin, not as good as Bard, shields are a bit meh, it has both cleanses (remove and block status). The problem is that heal, shields and cleanse/block status require you to place them near players. Which is why Artist works best with melee classes as they usually stick to the boss in group and you can safely target all 3 near them all. It sucks when your party is made up of a mix of melee and range classes, because a lot of the times you have to prioritize whom to heal/shield/cleanse.
@@nuxbot919 True, but then again Bard/Paladin are easy to play and with practice you will get to play them well. Artist is slightly harder as you really need to watch out for your team mates and have a proper team composition so that everyone can capitalize. Luckily, this influx of supports made us mostly DPS players to pick and choose supports as well. Before Artist, you kind of had to be grateful that you have a support in your party/raid. Now if 1 support is an asshat and doesn't do his job properly you can kick him out and 100 others are waiting to be picked up.

With the shard reduction and only needing 30/75 crafting mats for normal and hard mode Brel, that helps NA a lot move up the roster.
the 30/75 crafting requirement is for Normal Brel gear only, Hard Ancient Brel Gear is still 40/100
@@xara2830 Its not. Just check it in game. 30/75 still in hard
why is everyone sailing to that isle top of artethine?

Pushing Akkan early as August will break the community, as its already damn worse. Hardly any players atm, was only 20k just before the 2nd DC!
Na/Sa/EU
You dont need 1600... just do normal mode and change your gear and get free stats and better honing chance... no need to fomo.
did they just copy Prince of Egypt BGM omg!
imo no one will go for 1600 except whales anyway , smart people will just go to 1580 and get 1600 with akkan gear
Yeah thats right 1600 is top much but i think ill go for 1590, thats pretty affordable even for f2p

True. I mean most people that are excited for Akkan have not even done Brel hard and yet they get all hyped about the next raid.
Too many ayaya supps and they are crap at mitigations. Paladins are always the best. they can heal and shield where ever you are
