    One thing i wish commentary with video would show on WRs is an example of what is meant when they say a player could be a better route runner, more polished. Give video evidence of how that conclusion is made. Especially for folks like myself inexperienced in evaluating WR skillsets beyond their highlights.

    Schoen took a swing at Maye; they wanted more than two firsts. So he pivoted to Nabers, one of the top players on most boards - pretty good work.

    This is why I'm more confident with Nabers no matter the QB, Dabs is going to get teams in "conflict" situations all game with Nabers on the field. 2 WRs that can go over the top (Nabers and Hyatt) and 3 who can thrive on crossing routes (Rob, Nabers and Slay) plus Bellinger and Singletary leaking out.

      It's a propitious selection. Sometimes, you need those.

      @@bigbluebanter1108 i love Slay to death, but replace him with Nabers in 2022 system and he's cooking for over Slays 800+ and handful of TDs imo.

      You left out Wan'dale Robinson. He's getting more playing time barring injury.

      @@AlfredGrant-nq8mm i put him with Nabers and Slay 😉....and totally agree about Rob if he stays healthy. Who's gonna cover Rob going across the field if they are worried about Hyatt or Nabers taking the top off.

      @@SKPanda1915 Never heard Wan'dale referred to as Rob but I agree, not many teams got the secondary to stop all that. Now it's time for a pass catching tight end.

    Not sure about the Sacco and Vanzetti look, but great breakdown.

    Even for the biggest Daniel Jones doubters, you have to understand Malik Nabors is as QB friendly as it gets. Josh Allen had similar numbers pre Stefon Diggs, then exploded. Not saying it's going to be to that extent, but there is no doubt, we will have the explosive element that's been missing.

    Okay so we got obj2.0 it just sucks that his first NFL QB is either Jones or Lock. I'm looking forward to tonight a iDL and a DB (Melton or Sanristril) and a Edge Defender (Jalyx Hunt) TE (Synnott) or another iOL (Christian Haynes) that's the wish list for '24

      we can adress qb in the next years. If we have an elite WR that lasts for 10 years

      Dum dum oh right because Drake or Macarthy are NFL ready QBs and proven .. Right buddy. DJ didn't forget how to throw , he did pretty good with practice squad receivers, we will be fine , Drew lock also not afraid to throw deep, with improvement in oline we'll be fine ,,, let's go Tommy cutlets. We ain't drafting a QB this yr .. no thanks .. gimme a good corner back .

    This kid is literally a Justin Jefferson & Jamar Chase hybrid. Talentwise, he's gonna be a Top 1-3 WR in the league within 2 years as long as his mind is right (which I think it is, but he seemed a little down to be playing w/ DJ in his press conference yesterday).

    Dudes stop-start ability is absolutely FILTHY, havent had a game-breaking WR like this since OBJ. I just dont get the JJ/Chase comps, their play-styles arent really similar, theyre just from LSU. Hes honestly a lot like Diggs or DJ Moore. The red flags are worrying though, and I think his maturity determines his ceiling. Worst case scenario he ends up in that Terry McLaurin tier, but a fully focused Nabers could be a near all-pro level talent, probably somewhere in that top 5-10 range

    i really hope that this is a permanent change to how the giants draft. Nabers is exactly the kind of player you draft at 6 because he has elite physical traits, a 1-2% athlete objectively. That is far easier to evaluate and project than film. Film lies. Especially in college to the nfl because 98.4% of the players on the field and on that tape will never take a snap in the NFL. So the performance and outcome is skewed AF. Look at Evan Neal. His tape was great. Why? Becuase he played at Alabama and was just good enough to push around lesser players. But he wasnt a player with elite physical traits. and that has directly translated over to the nfl where the competition is significantly better and he is easily beat by players who simply out athlete him. The whole nfl got it wrong because they dont look at the right things (ravens an excpetion, couple others) and you see it in the massive failure rates the draft produces on average. the only strat that actually works is drafting athletes with elite traits and drafting as many of them as you possibly can.

    • @ajkareem5685
      @ajkareem5685 6 місяців тому

      Be honest. Neal’s physical traits were the reason he got drafted.

    • @ajkareem5685
      @ajkareem5685 6 місяців тому

      But in Neal’s case, you can be an athlete, but if you don’t have the technique to go with it, it means zero

      @@ajkareem5685 neagtive. he lacked the one thing most important and thats bend. and you cant coach it and its why he is beaten so hilariously so routinely. and thats the point, the tape showed it but they fell in love with him pancaking student athletes. well the nfl doenst have student athletes, they have freaks and dogs and monsters. and neal cant block any of them
