  • Here is a drill that intentionally works on your footwork as a catcher. This drill will force you to make good habits of your catch & throw game. Just like the name says, you will start the two knees down drill on your knees.
    Level One, you catch the ball, pull the ball out of your glove, step out with your right foot, and make a strong and accurate throw.
    Level Two, make the catch, step with your right foot, then your left foot, and make a strong and accurate throw.
    Level Three, go back to your regular catching stance, and try to incorporate the same footwork you just worked on in the other two levels.
