Walk the talk. Start with yourself and the big hitters. E.g when company is on margin call, to stay afloat they start firing or reducing salaries of the big hitters at the top. I saw for myself executives and managers being declared redundant and unnecessary. We didn't get affected, we only lost our extraneous allowances. The 46% you mention is constituted by you guys up there. Don't touch the small fishes.
