I personally don't feel like learning if my notes aren't clean and understandable. Don't judge a person just because what they do doesnt work for you ✨✨
It happened once The notes were so pretty, but I didn't understand anything, and I don't have time. My exams are in 4 months, so it's passive for me, its not challenging the content as i like.. For example, flashcards, it comused me, depends using other people decks, if is not there. I make my own.
As a person who is bothered when my notes are messy, I got 96% on the first test I did with studying neat notes My grades with messy notes were around 84%
My grades are practically the same from when I used to to have messy notes to neat notes. My math grade went from 98% to 101% (Extra Credit) My English grade went from 95% to 99% All my other classes had about the same percentage difference, all ranging from 95% to 102%. To be honest, neat notes are not necessary at all to get good grades. If good grades are what you’re looking for, then it’s not really necessary. And not to mention, I’m pretty sure the reason why I got lower grades with messy notes is because I NEVER PAID ATTENTION to reviews. But with the higher scores, I did. (I also switched schools in between from a regular school to an IB school) So a lot of things can factor into getting a good grade. I just prefer neat notes because I’m more willing to study with them. It’s personal preference 😂

For Me I'll recommend using 1 highlighter for each note or lecture so it accually makes it aesthetic but it's your opinion of what you want so ok😊
