I think they are trying to pay for all that expensive machinery they bought. I wonder why doctors don't do the ultrasound first then do a mamography if something shows on the ultrasound. It just sounds like big medicine and tradition to me.
In Mexico (at least the city I was in), the gynecologist does a full check up including breast exam and ultrasound. No word of a mammogram in the general check up. Transvaginal ultrasound is also done with a pap, urine test & a coloposcopy if needed. All in all it just seems to make more sense. America is behind.
I was left in pain for three weeks after the horrific compression. The uncompassionate technician performed. Won’t do that again.!,!😒😩😟
