- The Ecological Park in Punta Cana is a natural reserve from the Punta Cana group, directly opposite of the Punta Cana airport. You can find more information on their website with the link below.

Everybody can go. You need your own Transportation to get there from your Hotel. At the main entrance you tell the guards that you are going to the "Ojos Indigenas" and they will give you sign to put into your Car. You can only go there and not drive around.
It's easy to find. Just follow the road.
At the Office of the Ecologic Reserve you have to pay the entrance fee of 50 USD per person. If you are a guest of one of the resort in the ground, entree id for free and you can walk over the beach.

One of the coolest things to do in Punta Cana,
Sweet - Waters in the Lagoon are pristine, Cristal clear, and irresistible. There are some where you can swim in and some to watch the turtles, fish .. well flora and fauna en general. Bring your bathing suite, Towel and if you want to stay for a while, something to drink. There is nothing to buy inside. Maybe your plant Identifier app :-)

How deep was the water in these lagoons. Are they safe for non swimmers

Hallo,ich möchte eventuell mit dem Mietwagen so ca. 15 Tage das schöne Land erkunden. Denken Sie es ist ok spontan zu dritt ( wir benötigen normalerweise nur ein Zimmer) drauflos zufahren.Findet man einfach eine Lodge / Pension für eine oder zwei Nächte im März.
Eine kurze Einschätzung wäre nett.

Kommt auf die Gegend an. Wenn ihr online seid unterwegs könnt ihr kurzfristig ein airbnb buchen. Mein geheim Tip „Cabañas“ die gibt es fast überall. Man kann mit dem Auto hineinfahren und von der Garage ins Zimmer. Sind of Stunden Hotels, aber wenn ihr nichts anderes findet ne gute lösung. wenn man abends spät kommt, kann man zu einem günstigen Preis übernacht bleiben … 😜
