If it's anything like the older model, it's heavy, doesn't inspire confidence when cornering, and the ride is too stiff. Straight line performance is fun tho (X1 25d)
We test drove one and it was nice to drive but the quality is not great compared to my G21 320D Touring. The interior felt a bit too bling and a bit plasticky.
We ended up going for an XC40 which is not an exciting drive but very competent and a full loaded version was still well under the X1 in fairly basic MSport trim e.g. no extras.
Mazda has better quality.
Talk to cx60 owners. Horrible.

Hi, bought x1 2024 sdrive 18d Msport pro package...7 days ago...after 100 km I had: AdBlue system error...went to BMW assistance, 3 days without the car, complete system changed...there are some missing things that are embarassing (light on the car glove compartment, nets on the back of the seats...)
Leased one about 1 year ago. Pretty happy with it, but had "drivetrain" error on screen that shut the car down in less than a minute, that made it underivable. Called BMW Roadside and towed to dealer and not returned back in over a month?
Just got one. The best one ever.❤ practical wins with the old spare tire included too!
Agreed re iDrive controller omission / foot shooting!

X1 is just pure garbage.The only thing good about it is the exterior design.
Agree, I had a chance to test drive it. Even the exterior when you take a closer look seems off. The proportions are not looking good with those small wheels and the tail/head lights are so cheap. It tries to look more expensive than it actually is and the price is just ridiculous.
Why is that ?
@@omarmessi7075 It feels really cheap. The quality is simply not there. Don’t trust any positive reviews about this suv. My advice is go to a dealer and try it out.
