Phenomenal game absolutely obsessed with the throwing knives
I know! I loved knives in syndicate and I’m happy they made a return along with hanging crates
Beat the story today and still have loads of fun just running around trying various stealth runs in restricted areas

Funny how so many are just hearing her voice for the first time! 😂 I love her acting ability and voice. Y’all should check out season 4 of 24, she is phenomenal in that role! Years and years ago, I first heard Roshan’s voice. I’m glad this woman was selected for the voice actor role. 💯

I’ve heard her voice in many games before. I never knew her name though. I always recognize her voice as Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay from Mass Effect 2 and 3.

So weird hearing how gushing this review is compared to so many others that say the story is pretty uninspired and not especially interesting. I’m hoping you’re more correct than the others to my tastes but I guess we’ll find out later today when I get my hands on it
That's fair! I'd be interested to hear if you like it! I couldn't help but love this game. It hit all the right buttons in the gameplay and narrative for me, but like anything, taste is completely subjective 😅😅
I wouldnt call this fresh. Nothing is new. Plot is non existent...and teleporting is just....no....gets tedious fast

I think the story is good. I don't know if I'd say one of the best, but still good and fun. Basim's journey is very interesting, though it kinda ends in a way you want more. There's not too much to the Order of the Ancients targets, they're kinda just bad people that you kill to move the plot forward, but it's still good imo

This review is counter to what most are saying, especially about the narrative, but I’ll see for myself when I start it this weekend.
It feels like part of the reason people are liking it so much is because they are comparing it to the last 3 games

@@ArielJLunabut combat is supposed to be terrible because Basim is terrible at combat and it was obvious in Valhalla too lol. Stealth is where he shines and he’s so good at it that even Eivor couldn’t keep track of his movement during missions. Btw when you upgrade your weapons and max out the skill tree, combat becomes a lot more fun and adding the stealth tools in there makes it even better.

For the most part, I usually don’t listen to game reviews, especially when they’re overly negative, because people will find any possible reason to hate the game and then provide the shittiest footage possible in order to back their argument. But in your case, it was objective and relatively unbiased, which is very respectable considering how rare those kinds of game reviews are. I saw a video of Mirage, but it was only 20 seconds long and then they’re trying to act like it’s bad. There wasn’t even anything apparent or obvious about the clip that would support the claim that it’s a bad game, yet people still complain. That being said, I’m definitely playing this game, and I’m super excited for it, regardless of what other people say.
Appreciate your feedback! We always do try to remain as unbiased as possible. I think that part of a fair review is looking at the positives and negatives in context, not just finding a flaw in the game and then saying the whole thing is terrible. We do have reviews that are negative, but we always try to find at least some positive in a game, because most games aren't all just bad or just good!
Them getting rid of the RPG number hits when attacking might make me grab this game.

While I haven't played it yet nor have I watched some gameplay (I don't want to spoil myself), I have my doubts about the mechanic of multi assassination. For those who have played it: it's op? Have some cool down mechanic or something?
Thanks for checking our our review! The multi assassination is not as OP as it would seem. It is a great problem solver in some stealth situations, but it requires you to charge it up to be able to use it, and it charges quite slowly.
This is how assassin's creed game should be, not becoming some overpowered demigod😅

I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the large RPG entries... I'm a sucker for a massive game world and hundreds of hours needed to complete. Odyssey is still one of the most immersive and breathtaking games I've ever played... up there with RDR2 in my eyes.
That's completely fair! Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla did a lot of stuff really well! I did really enjoy them, I just felt that mirage went back to that classic AC feel! But I definitely get the love for Odyssey!

From what I've seen the majority of the hate comments are coming from people who haven't played it. There are still many trolls who think AC is dead and ignore the fact that Valhalla had the biggest sales of the entire series. 😅

It’s a good game. Ubisoft needs to work their lazy asses and perfect obvious things tho!
The thing I don’t like is the running and parkour. The running doesn’t look much different from the jogging and the parkour is terrible. And the jumping between buildings looks like a hop than a proper jump or a running long jump
I'm enjoying it alot. It isn't my favorite of the series but story wise, I like it more then Valhalla.
THIS GAME IS FIRE. I’m so glad I wasn’t disappointed after paying 70$. Can’t wait for Skull & bones in December also.

As somebody who was honestly a fan of the more RPG oriented titles I hope those stick around, but as somebody who’s been playing this series since the third game I’m so excited to get that old AC feeling again
Everyone seems to love this game I think it sucks. I wish they combined this game with Valhalla’s freedom to choose weapons in different styles of fighting would’ve been cool. They just missed out on so much yeah it’s somewhat a return to the roots but not really. They could’ve had it both ways pretty easily. And there’s some things that are just ridiculous.
Kinda conflicted to get it given it’s trimmed down ex dlc for Valhalla
The benefits of Mirage is that its a tightly packed experience, so you won't find the exploration getting too tedious. The downside is that it is on the smaller side, so you won't be getting your 100 hr AC fix from it. So it just depends on what you are looking for.
I love being able to use a sword for 4 seconds and then dying because you cant dodge anymore

Beat the game and a 9 is way to high. Really liked the game but a 7 is what I think it deserves. The ending was very abrupt without much satisfaction. I was hoping to learn something more about Basim but if you beat Valhalla you already know the ending twist if you could even call it that. The game also has no modern day at all which is disappointing.
Ubisoft finaly going back to assassin creed roots just to go back to the rpg style the next game

4.5 hours in and it’s way too long before getting any tools. Starting to get desperate but this game is HELLA better than the last 3 despite it being so much shorter. It actually feels like AC again. This is the path they should’ve gone after Origins
If you liked this AC, I don't think you played 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, 4, Unity, Rogue or Syndicate
Origins is something of its own you shouldn’t compare it to odyssey for valhalla I played them all and all older games and I think origins told a good story and wasn’t too rpgish to ruin the assassin’s creed story it actually told a nice story and bayek was interesting, although I enjoyed odyssey and valhalla as an action rpg games not assassins game but they bumped up the rpg too much that they strayed so much from telling a good story! If they can work out origins formula in a smaller environment which is more stealth friendly and make any assassination 1 hit kill then that would be amazing

I’m playing it right now as I’m in the uk 🇬🇧! And I’m loving every moment of it !! The graphics are insanely beautiful it’s nothing like that shit show Valhalla ! The gameplay is smooth and it’s like a proper old school AC story and I love the character development already of Basim !! So glad I bought it now 😍🥺

Why can’t we get a Valhalla sized game utilizing the combat and parkour of Unity?
Na I do want them to bring back unitys parkour but I don’t think the game would need to be thattt long maybe like 20-40hours max for main story that might just be me tho
@@xz2373 Agreed. The problem with making something as large as Valhalla for parkour is making that sized of a world. It took like 5 years to make a Unity-sized map. That would take like a decade

It’s the same exact game released for the fourth time. Same animations, same controls, same garbage parkour, same flaming and poisonous weapons, same glowing cosmetics, same special abilities, same damn thing. 4/10. It’s fun, and it’s an improvement from Odyssey and Valhalla, but it’s still not an assassins creed game. And the only thing nostalgic about this game is the Maysaf temple

Have a terrible time getting through this game. Only 1.5 hours in and I can just barely manage the cringe of the voice acting and face animations. It just saddens me to see the low effort on that part.
This game needs a new game +. I dont wanna hear about there being no replay ability since we have everything unlocked. Thats to whole point of a ng+ to be OP while still enjoying the game either way.
To many videos pushing how great it is. All that tells me is they changed it so much it's gonna suck and not be with it. Last 3 games have been the best in the franchise.
