Love you showing they cater for disabled dad's on crutches for around a month more to get to his six weeks post op he's managed stairs now and is definitely walking easier even things like leaning forward he couldn't do now he can again but we stayed in a premier inn before his op as he couldn't walk and far and the disabled bathroom was so helpful for him to use his stick and move around 👏💖
Thanks so much for posting this. We're off to Cala Gran tomorrow and it looks like this is our exact allocated caravan. You've no idea how much it alleviates the anxiety of holidaying as a wheelchair user, to see what the accommodation is like. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤
Hi lovely. You're so welcome ❤️ I really hope you've enjoyed/enjoying your holiday and it's amazing. Will have to let me know how you've got on with the caravan ❤️
@@isobelalexandra it's great... sitting in it right now after a lovely day in Blackpool. My only tiny criticism is the gradient of the ramp at the very beginning... it's a tad steep for those of us that self-propel. People in power chairs or with a helper will be fine but those of us relying on bicep power may struggle. Other than that, it's fab. Very low threshold to enter caravan, good set up in kitchen and great wet room. Even a ceiling track hoist in main bedroom and a hook for hoists over both single beds in smaller bedroom. Lower cupboards in the kitchen would be marrrrrrvellous, if you're reading this, Haven. ;)
oh wow its changed so much i used to go here with my parents and my sister as a kid we used to go every year at the same time and wow it brings back some amazing memories thanks so much for sharing look forward to seeing more videos take care and stay safe and much love from Scotland x
Hi Isobel, I love a caravan holiday! The accessible caravan looks good. The nature area is really cool. My kids used to love the splash zone when they were younger. Have a fab holiday!xx
Hey thanks for the video. Torn to book now we have been to Marton Mere three times with our 5 year oldbut this looks really nice and a little bit cheaper. Is it really way out of Blackpool?
It's about 18 mins via car into main blackpool from Cala Gran and it is more compact however we do love cala gran and we would probably choose that park over Marton Mere if we chose to stay again! 😀 It really depends doesn't it but if you're up for a change then you should go for it! It depends on personally preference but both parks we really enjoyed amazing at. We try and go to different Haven sites but can't help but booking the one you prefer... 😄
@Life With Isobel Hey no we have done it and booked haha, Haven were fab we swapped Primrose Valley to Cala Gran for the first time as both my partner and daughter have never seen the illuminations so it's a no brainer haha thanks again for the videos

♥
Hi, thank you so much for this, what’s the price like with the accessible caravan compared to one which isn’t accessible x
There isn't much difference, I would say it's similar, just depends what time of the year you need it x great caravan though x
