Not to mention that Garou's first victim were all of Bang's other disciples, which were all either crippled or so traumatized that they gave up on fighting. This is too personal for a "fair duel".
Even if it was a Fair one bang would still beat garou even if he is 80 because he has mastered that style while garou hasnt and he is injured from fighting other heroes.
thing about it is, it isnt about "time management" or "great production" because what made season 1 so damn good, was that the director of the project was late into his career, and pulled every favor he had in the industry to have tons of guest animators, i cant remember his name, but his calling card is cube geometry, and you can see it in multiple episodes of season 1, and basically tons of animators working on the project all at once. all the characters stay on model near at all times, while also taking moments to professionally mimic the webcomic for punctual moments of comedy. the point of season 1 is that the director loved the series and a lot of studio bones loved the series, so he poured absolutely everything into season 1, which is basically his magnum opus. changing back to studio bones wont just magically fix the animation. we need the same director and all the animators that were in season 1 if we want the movie level quality of animation we had in season 1

Like Boros' case which is to deflect that planet destroying beam, while in Centichoro's case, kill him without making him explode that would certainly cause damage to all the nearby cities.

That's Garou fault. Nobody told Garou "you need to fight 10+ heroes back to back in one day without taking a break or healing your injuries first to become a monster." If he had actually took a break and healed and been back at 100% then things would've been different but he didn't. Nobody should feel bad for him for taking on more than he could chew. He was fighting Bang 1v1 until he realized he couldn't handle it because of the injuries that he didn't feel were top priority so he tried to go for the hostage so he could either escape or find a opening.

Also, Garou and Bangs's former relationship was that of master and student. Bang finds out that his former pupil is hunting down heroes for kicks. He's not going to care bout giving Garou an fair fight after learning that. This all happens in the Manga. Season 2 was a setup for Season 3 but this season is more or less Garou's story / introduction. However, when season 3 rolls in (could be read right now (mostly) in the Manga), you'll be glad Season 2 exists. *Y'all need to just go and read the Manga, reread season 2, and continue beyond that.* It's great. @@LD1E60 a serious punch doesnt have to be massively destructive. Rather it's controlled in order to not cause too much unnecessary damage but is still capable of doing what it is supposed to do. Like Boros' case which is to deflect that planet destroying beam, while in Centichoro's case, kill him without making him explode that would certainly cause damage to all the nearby cities.
@@LD1E60 Saitamas serious punch is not "stronger" than a normal punch. It's just a punch actually. So it doesn't matter whether he calls it out or not. And the reason he was serious with Centichoro was because the city was so close, that's why he punched hard enough to disintegrate him.

The thing is that the manga still hasn't finished and they had a lot of build up to the actual *big* fight (which the manga still hasn't reached yet).
If they waited like another year or two and had MadHouse do the animation, they could've had a 30 episodes season and it would've finished cleanly.

The webcomic is way ahead but the Murata manga version hasn’t finished this arc since his art style is so detailed it takes so long for a manga chapter to release and the animation studios use the murata version to adapt into an anime, the Murata version is on chapter 152 or 111(depending where you read) and the anime finished on chapter 125 (Chapter 84)

That's Garou fault. Nobody told Garou "you need to fight 10+ heroes back to back in one day without taking a break or healing your injuries first to become a monster." If he had actually took a break and healed and been back at 100% then things would've been different but he didn't. Nobody should feel bad for him for taking on more than he could chew. He was fighting Bang 1v1 until he realized he couldn't handle it because of the injuries that he didn't feel were top priority so he tried to go for the hostage so he could either escape or find a opening.

Also, Garou and Bangs's former relationship was that of master and student. Bang finds out that his former pupil is hunting down heroes for kicks. He's not going to care bout giving Garou an fair fight after learning that. It's Bang's responsibility, as his former master, to put Garou down before he sends anymore heroes to the hospital, by any means necessary.

This all happens in the Manga. Season 2 was a setup for Season 3 but this season is more or less Garou's story / introduction. However, when season 3 rolls in (could be read right now (mostly) in the Manga), you'll be glad Season 2 exists. *Y'all need to just go and read the Manga, reread season 2, and continue beyond that.* It's great. This is also coming from a guy like me, where I rarely read manga, I'm an anime man. On a rare occasion I might marathon a manga into the night and into the next day. This maybe happens 3 times a year for me, not even once a season. (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)
