- as my youtube channel is getting bigger, it seems the more problems I am getting.
please let me know what you think about this warning the I have be given from youtube..
UA-cam has become an ugly Tyrant, I wish all my channels I follow could move over somewhere else.
A lot of people upload to Rumble also, among others.
Also the galvanisation on the shopping basket is really bad for the health to be honest mate, it is what it is

I miss both my late parents immeasurably but at times like this, I'm actually glad they're no longer around to see the pathetic state society has fallen into, where we're not allowed to say or do certain things any more for fear of offending someone. Of course care, kindness and consideration should still factor in everyday life (& thankfully for those of us who aren't part of a brainwashed flock, it still exists) but it used to happen all the time under the umbrella of respect & manners. I know I'm sounding like I should've started this with a neck twitch and the words "durin' the war" Uncle Albert fashion but it really is getting ridiculous.

There are some seriously sad people out there, their lives must be so dull, mate, that basket cooking method was f**king brilliant, and that steak looked perfectly cooked, if they don't like it don't watch,massive respect to you Dan.
I've been on UA-cam for well over a decade and never had a single strike that I can recall; now, in the last ten days or so, I've suddenly had two. Zero explanation as to why, and absolutely no way to appeal it. I've been clicking on all the options offered, and there's nothing except for when your video has been taken down. I haven't posted a video in over a year, so it isn't that. I strongly suspect that a troll is targeting me for my supposedly free speech, but there's no recourse, no real way even to find out if I'm correct. With all the truly offensive stuff being posted on UA-cam every day, I really think they need to start investigating the complaints before they act on them. Being reported for cooking a steak is patently ridiculous. Meanwhile, I've reported obvious instances of real animal cruelty in videos and been ignored every time. UA-cam needs to use some of that amazing revenue to hire more people and sort the spurious complaints from the valid ones.

This is what makes me laugh, they don't have to watch the video, as no one is forcing them to do so, if someone has a problem in him cooking meat, just skip the cooking part. Not really hard to do, but then again some people don't have the bus fare.

It's probably just an algorithm thing, someone has complained but no human has seen the video. I've had copyright strikes on music I've written and a couple for songs my cousin has written and sung and given permission to use. I've traced it back to a Korean production company. You'll find this is just some malicious fool jealous of your success.
funny you saying that about your music buddy, two youtubers i am subbed to, got busted for copyright issues. All they did was press the demo button on the keyboards, One was doing a repair, the other was doing a review. Some foreigner's took the music, and tossed some lyrics over it, and claimed that the two lads had stole their music. So what ever money the two lads, made on those videos, the foreigners who took the music, would get the money. The two lads fort it mind, and both of them got the keyboard manufactures involved. Yamaha responded and said that the demo was written and programmed by one of their lads, and i think that email even went to UA-cam them selves. I don't think You tube did bugger all about it. The youtuber that got Yamaha involved i think he ended up calling time on his channel. Pulled his Patreon and that was it. The other stopped playing the demo songs, and i think he even altered the video in the end, that had the demo in. So there are some scams out there, trying to pull a fast one. Sounds like its all automated when it comes down to been reported, from what i have seen. No human input, to say hang on here.
Yeah the copyright thing is a mess. Most likely your cousin used that agency or it was given permission by someone. At that point they have the DRM rights for the song. Even if you cousin did give you permission he may not have the authority because of DRM.

Good luck on your first camp. If you have a mate who is into it to go with you, makes it loads easier.
But once you have a couple under your belt, it does get a lot better and less nerve wracking.
I haven't have that happened to my channel yet, but I have multiple times gotten a copystrike warning where someone is pretending to own the music I have added to my videos.
One of them, it was my own song I composed myself. I appealed, and they didn't make any action, so after 30 days, the strike automatically went away.
I think their goal is to make many claims, and then a few creators won't notice the claim, or don't bother appealing etc. and then they get all the revenue from that video.
So yeah, UA-cam really needs to get its sh*t together. A lot of shady stuff happening to the creators.

Hi Dan I been doing shopping basket trivet for ages . U can cut it so u can feed fire from all 4 directions aswell it's great to show people these ideas as u don't need expensive equipment all the time. Love the channel 😊

UA-cam are designing their own demise. I've heard many creators say they can't produce their videos because of YT. I watch the videos I want to see and ignore those I don't. It does happen and I have heard it. As a frequent commentator, I have also received this caution. I believe bored and undertrained (and underpaid) monitors jump on this. Militant (Vegans, this or that causers) will always troll 'OUR' favorite channels.
I have gone camping for a long time, a group of us used to have a few weekends away, we put a large Stainless steel plate over a fire to cook a lot of meat. I don't have an issue with veggies or vegans but they do not have the right to dictate how I or anydoby else chooses to live or what we eat. I really love your Channel and I don't even understand the way UA-cam has turned on good wholesome creators. I personally am a lady in my mid fifties and I love my steak if people have a problem with that then they can turn to another channel to watch it's that simple. They don't need to be malicious or Target channels who are not in line with their personal beliefs. There's multiple ads on YT cooking steak, hamburgers, etc, YT gets paid to run these ads, so how can they give you a warning?

I have repeatedly complained about UA-cams censorship on comments. To the point they do nothing about it. Between the creator warnings, demonetization, strikes for the most ridiculous issues etc. Yet they have the nerve to push people to Premium. We do need a better alternative but keep going with the channel.
