My dad passed away in 2020, I was addicted to Oxys and heroin and used other drugs a lot too. I got on methadone and have been clean (from illicit drugs) for about 9 months now, I'm starting to think about reducing my methadone but I'm scared, been physically dependant to opiates for a long time. Juice WRLD was a very different artist than anyone we have seen before. Everything he said was straight from his mind cause he freestyled his music, he did not write. He could freestyle a hit song in 5 minutes, had a great voice, and really connected with our generations. He was able to become one of the biggest rappers in the world in just his short 18ish month career. We will never see someone like him again RIP JUICE

Face 2 face is one of my current favorites, its quite short but has great lyrics and video. A comment about what you said at 4:43 I agree that hollywood and the music industry, specifically rap, will try to get artists to promote drugs(because that’s heavy right now with the youth) except, he was doing pills and lean wayyy before he even started putting out music. He said in an interview that he started drinking lean(codeine and promethazine mixed into a drink) when he was 13. He started off with Xanax for pills but stopped liking it after he was introduced to percocet’s. Unfortunately though, as good as his music is it introduced him to the fame life in such a short span and with a generations worth of money rolling in and not knowing how to handle the fame followed by a really bad drug addiction, you can see where that leads to unfortunately. If you do react to more of his music you may find that a good amount of his released music is the sad type and that’s because that’s what his label wanted him to mainly put out to the public because, and to be honest, sad music was his best form because he was so good at articulating his feelings. He has other music that isn’t sad that is also good, but there’s only a handful of his released songs not being sad. If you really want to find his best work you would need to check out his unreleased. So many gems that could clear any song he has released.
