Thanks for making this video I was just on the search of searching this. Also do you know what is allocated on theses on a Sunday? Also is it true that 10653 is making an appearance on the 685?Sorry for asking a lot of questions I’m just wondering.Hope u respond. Thanks
Whatever bus times is reporting is most likely true! It tends to be E300s from Slatyford, although I'm sure they'll be appearances from E400MMCs aswell...
Main reason was because of the substantial Arriva disruption in North Tyneside and Newcastle in Autumn, which led to them making the decision to quit the 685, and allow the resources to be invested into delivering better service in the disrupted areas.
685 is a crazy route

Hey! 10648 was allocated on the 685 on Friday 12th July!
Hasn't Jesmond depot shut down and if so is that one of the reasons why Arriva pulled out of the 685 route?
One of the reasons. Ngl it makes more sense just having Stagecoach on the route, and it sure has helped improve efficiency...
So why did Arriva pull out of the service?
It’s because they had a shortage of drivers and they said they had to focus on the other routes across Newcastle.
Probably cuz it runs far away from there main network area
