Hi from Toronto Canada. Love your list here. I'm so happy that Canada's Wonderland placed so high on your list. Thank you. The other parks look interesting too and their coasters even. Really enjoyed the video.
I agree was very shocked to see Carowinds so low and even though I have not been to a few of these parks what was interesting is everything that was said about Canada‘s Wonderland which does look to seem to be a beautiful park but I had some very close friends who the guy is Canadian but he had never been to Canada‘s Wonderland (we used to always go to Carowinds together with season passes)but they lived here in Charlotte and had daughter and then he and his wife both got jobs in an orchestra in Winnipeg about 3 or 4 years ago they finally had a chance to go to Canada‘s Wonderland and he said you could definitely tail it was a cedar fair park but he said the lines were so long and The food was OK he said personally he just liked Carowinds better and got a consensus from his wife and daughter that they felt the same. Oh well everybody’s got their own opinion but I was really surprised and shocked how low Carowinds got ranked on this list.
I go to Cedar Point once every 2-3 years. Each time I'm there I think to myself, "Wow I can't believe I'm here." It really is an amazing place. They do everything better than most.
Cedar Point EASILY has the best coaster collection in terms of elite rides (nothing can compete with their Top 5 - if you include TTD 😢). But with KI’s collection having a better balance of steel/wood and the ops being INFINITELY better than CP’s, KI is the better overall park imo. The last 7x I’ve been to KI, I never had one ounce of stress during my days at KI. Can’t say the same about CP. That being said, both parks are ELITE.
I've once had a day at Dorney Park in 2020 that'd be bad enough for me to put it under Michigan's Adventure. Talon literally closed for the day while I was in line for it(which is what started my reason why B&Ms are very unreliable), Possessed was closed the entire 2020 season, the park crowds were everywhere, and that's why, at the time, I've waiting longest time for a park ride in my life: 51 minutes!! Even worse, I invited a friend over to the experience, which doubled the flaws.
All MA needs are a few thrilling flats and it could compete with Worlds of Fun and Dorney. Coasterwise, they don't seem that far off from the other low tier Cedar Fair parks mainly due to Shivering Timbers and a smooth SLC.
went to Kings island 14 times this year one being winterfest and Cedar point 4. I may be a KI local so im a little biased but KI is a much better designed layout wise and ran the park better than CP. CP just has the a better top 4
I feel like all around as a park KI is better but Cedar has the advantage due to the coasters, Orion did wonders and really pushed it over the edge for me and my trip this year stunned me with how amazing it was. Not to mention this is the perfect park for me to visit with my little cousins and get a lot out of it, something Cedar just can’t compete with imo.
💯 Nothing can touch CP’s Top 5 (even though their supporting cast is 🔥 as well), but I need more woodies than CP offers and KI’s ride ops are EASILY better than CP.
THANK YOU somebody finally actually gives wonderland some love. The park is top notch in almost every category and I find it super underrated. Glad to see you had a great time there!
I’ve been to all the CF parks, but I’d find it very hard to rank them. Having said that, I’m fine with your ordering. Really, I enjoyed all these parks, even if I found Mich. Adv. a little dreary. Anyway, nice vid.
CRowinds is so overrated it’s crazy. So top heavy. Doesn’t have a good lineup. Fury is the only elite ride. Copperhead is a great ride but not worlds best. Intimidator is the worst hyper.
The reason for Knott's operations is because the employees are always talking and not really paying attention and some of the locals take their sweet time getting on rides.

Nice video. I think you got the rankings mostly right. I would just move Knotts up to 3 or 4. And there’s always a debate for me between kings island and cedar point. While cedar point has the best coaster lineup in the world, the overall experience can be lacking.
californias great ameria is my home park. It doesnt have a wide selection of coasters. I think they really need to add a hyper. Flight deck, rail blazer, and gold striker by far are the best rides there
Marco: Intimidator 305 may as well be the best roller coaster I've ever been on. Me: Yes! Yes! Yes please! Pretty please with a signature from the Intimidator and a house near Doswell put it at your #1(Tries to insert pleading and happy emojis)!! Intimidator 305 absolutely deserves it!! It's super close to topping Steel Vengeance on my count(87 coasters)!! I can't wait to tell you my opinion on it when we get a chance of a ZOOM meeting!
Canada Wonderland has a great flat ride collection even if I don't like flat rides that much but Vortex is the best remaining Arrow suspended coaster, backlot stunt coaster is fun and Dragon Frye surprised me in a good way with the whip in the back on the double vertical loops. Yet: I still agree that Canada's Wonderland has a top heavy coaster collection that isn't very deep at all; I can testify to that personally. Whether one thinks that that drop off happens after Yukon Striker or Dragon Fyre. For me Behemoth in the back left seat is the best ride in the park. That's followed by Leviathan, which is good in every seat (slightly better than other seats of Leviathan in the very front or back row) and Yukon Striker comes in #3 and is the s the best dive coaster I've ridden (although I've never ridden Griffon).
I can't believe you've never been to Kings Island or Six Flags Great America. I hope you make it to both places next year because if you like roller coasters very much, those should be two of the first parks you visit.
I have a soft spot for Dorney because it's my home CF park but they definitely need a new standout coaster. But from the ones I've been to I'd say: 1) Cedar Point 2) Kings Island 3) Kings Dominion 4) Carowinds 5) Dorney

After hearing your rankings of these parks, I’d have to say the top two are outstanding. The next two have potential. The landscaping is already on point. They suffer from a massive quality over quantity dip with their attractions, but that could easily be fixed, as they’ve already started removing the less popular rides at Kings Dominion. I have a feeling with land being valued, Canada’s Wonderland will have to follow suit soon.
You can't say things like "a bit lacking at the top for the caliber park" if you haven't been. Theres nothing lacking about their top 4. They probably beat out every park but Cedar Point
I've been to 7 thus far. I would rank those 7 this way: 1. Cedar Point- My Favorite park. Deepest collection of coasters. 2. Carowinds- Fury, and a solid top 4. I like the charm of this park. 3. Knott's- The drawback is the operations, but the theming and events they put on are top notch. Coaster wise it would be down a couple of spots. 4. Kings Island- Good operations. For me they lack a standout #1 coaster. I think Mystic, Diamondback, and Orion are all 1A. None are as high as GhostRider for me. 5. Kings Dominion- Great Top 2. Second best to only Cedar Point. But it lacks depth after those top 2. Dominator, Grizzly, and Racer are good but not something I would want multiple rides on. 6. California Great America- I really enjoy this park. Great Top 2 and a very underrated #3 in Flight Deck. 7. Gilroy Gardens- beautiful park I would put ValleyFair, Worlds of Fun, Michigan's Adventure, and Dorney Park between CGA and GG. For Canada's Wonderland I would think for me it looks like it would come in after Kings Dominion.
Well Alan you’re wrong. Dominion legit has 2 rides and that’s it. Wonderland has elite worldwide rides…better atmosphere, better flat rides, better lineup, themes, highest attended seasonal park in NOrth America. I’m guessing you’re American as most write off wonderland without even going there. Kinda hilarious as it’s better than carowinds easily. Top 3 park.
@@mr.intamin1081 Fury 325 much better than Leviathan.... Intimdator and Behemoth are basically the same. Slight edge to Behemeth if the trims don't hit, but they staple a bit on Behemoth. That isn't an issue with Intimidator. Wonderland has nothing close to Afterburn or Copperhead Strike in terms of quality. And save the whole Yukon Stiker stuff. Dive coasters are weak. Like I said I will take KD's top 2, Carowinds top 4, and the atmosphere & GhostRider any day over Wonderlnd. CGA has a better #3 coaster in Flight Deck than what Wonderland has.
