Janelle I think it’s great that you got into Stanford and that your parents don’t have to pay your tuition. My parents were always loving and encouraging towards me just as yours have been towards you. When I received my acceptance letters from Harvard and Stanford it gave me a type of self confidence that has lasted throughout my life. I would encourage you to seek out older, mature alums who can advise you. Understand that the greater the university the greater the divergence among its graduates. Harvard has some fantastic graduates. Unfortunately, Harvard also has the Unibomber and one of the chief orchestrators of the Enron debacle. Your best opportunity to grow as a human being will be during the next four years. The book of Proverbs states that if you advise wise people they will love you. If you advise fools they will hate you. The first step in gaining wisdom is to seek wisdom more intensely than anything else you could seek. It is more valuable than gold or jewels. It is even more valuable than a LV bag, designer clothes or fame acquired through vlogging. You will be sitting in class with people who are highly prepared for Stanford and who are hungry. Are you equally prepared and focused?
Aww I love standford mall I grew up like over the ramp and university was my favorite place and I worked all over Palo Alto and Menlo Park beautiful place only the filthy rich can afford the expensive stores lol so I mostly window shop haha but nice vlog please try the cafe next to sprinkles so good lol
