Grid Scale Battery Community Fightback

When a fossil fuel corporation applied to install diesel generators only metres away from a nursery school in south Bristol, the community fought back.
After several appeals, the plans were finally turned down. In their place, BEC - working with Thrive Renewables - have successfully brought to fruition grid-scale batteries capable of stepping in when the local grid network requires a boost of energy.
