Since 2018 Barbalé is a cultural arena in Norway for professional artists and musicians from both Norway and abroad organized as a concert series under the Norwegian Flamenco Association.
We collaborate with Cosmopolite scene, Riksscenen, Sentralen, Melahuset and Kulturhuset in Oslo.
Performances are arranged once per month for 2 seasons per year (autumn & spring).
Barbalé comes from the Romani language and means fantastic spirit - delirium. Nothing describes flamenco better.
