This song is soooo iconic, I don’t think you guys have any idea how iconic it is for the world of kpop haha Takes so many of us wayyy back 💀😂 The amount of idols in Korea and people who call SHINee themselves their idols and who have done covers to this one song itself is beyond your imagination 😂 Whew I love the way you guys are helping me relive my early years of discovery and being into kpop through these reactions (Lmao you called it and my reaction 😂😂😂)
I will say this again. Don't know if you're even reading comments, or have time to, but Shinee are the Prince's of KPoP. Their vocals are amazing. Their harmonizing is amazing. Their lead vocalist passed away in 2017, Jonghyun. He is very missed. 3 members have already done their military mandatory training. Taemin will be next. You should listen to Jonghyun's songs; Y Si Fuera Ella (live), Cocktail & Moon. His vocals were amazing.
@@ainaliya8301 That's most likely what she meant. In Western countries, people use the term "lead vocal" rather than main whereas in kpop both terms are thing but it's two different positions.
My babies!!! Taemin was only 14 years old in this, and the other boys were a few years older. Babies!!! Taemin didn't sing a lot because of puberty and his voice cracking, lol... but now look at his sultry, velvety voice. Growing up did him well. I get a kick out of all the horrible hairstyles they put on Taemin through the years, lol! :)
The song is basically them talking to an older girl about how much they like her and how pretty she is. The literal translation of the Korean name of the song is *Noona is so pretty* (Noona is the word boys in Korea use when talking to an older girl who they are close to, it can be a friend or sister or in this case a crush lol) *Fun fact: This song's storyline has a continuation in their 2015 track Lovesick and in their most recent 2021 track Marry You!!*
2008: Back in 2008 UA-cam was not really a place where artists uploaded music and so there's a lot of Kpop from older days that are 'misdated' because they were uploaded after they aired. So yes this song is over a decade old.
Apart of that; sm reupload a lmany of the old mvs, because they has a problem with the visits in UA-cam and they erased ... so imagine the old mvs have more views
actually, the mvs were alt uploaded on youtube. but sm decided to make a new channel so they deleted the old ones and uploaded them on the smtown channel we now have. the old channel was called sment.
SHINee's "Replay" isn't just nostalgic, it's legendary. And SHINee are legends. The Noona (the older girl SHINee have a crush on that they are singing to) in the "Replay" MV is the leader of their sister group***, Victoria from F(x). This MV came out more than a year before F(X) debuted so this was Victoria even before debut. (Funny thing is, Victoria is native Chinese and she says she was still learning Korean during this time and she could barely even say SHINee.) Victoria was so perfect in this role because she is a few years older than any of the SHINee members so she fit well as the lead actress in this MV. As the song says, 'Noona neomu yeppeo .... replay, replay, replay ...." In other words they are saying "pretty older woman I really like you and I think you like me too ... every time I see you I need a replay of the moment over and over again in my head." Noona neomu yeppeo is a Korean term that essentially means "Pretty older woman" Yeppeo is a term that means beautiful that is only used by guys to describe a beautiful woman that is older than them. There really isn't a literal translation of the term so that is why the song is called "Replay" in English. But in Korean it is called "Noona neomu yeppeo." That's why if you watch SHINee on a lot of variety shows and TV programs, the older women in the show often ask SHINee to sing this song to them. ***** SHINee and F(x) are both SM Entertainment groups, they debuted within a year of each other, they both are 5 member groups (Now 4 member groups ;( ) and they have similar music styles and concepts, etc. F(x) is pretty much the female version of SHINee. "Replay" actually came out in 2008 -- more than 12 years ago -- however, SM launched their new UA-cam channel in 2011 and reuploaded all their older videos at that time. So all of their older MVs and content will have a 2011 date but, like "Replay," they actually may be from much earlier. "Replay" is literally considered one of the best debut songs of all time for any Kpop artist because it's so timeless and it never goes out of style or sounds outdated no matter how old it gets. And this is why SHINee are Icons. This song makes all the women swoon. You just witnessed baby SHINee and were already blown away, just imagine what it will be like as you go through their discography and MVs. They have 12 full-length albums (6 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS, they each have solo songs and albums and there are hundreds of live performances that will absolutely leave you speechless with their talent. And it only gets more and more impressive as you follow them through their career. They have accomplished a lot in the past 12+ years and they are one of the groups that made Kpop what it is today. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups as trendsetters. This song was way ahead of its time when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of theirs will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends, never following them. As SM's experimental boy group, nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same, and, yet, somehow it will always sound like SHINee. So this shows just how talented even as teenagers SHINee were. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their live concert performances. Fun fact: SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group. Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. I can't imagine the world if we never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today. Things would be so different. May 25, 2020, was SHINee's 12th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger than most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than most other groups, such as EXO and BTS, etc. which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry. When SHINee debuted Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now they are all in their late 20s and early 30s. (Onew just turned 31 in December.) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) -- the one in the hat -- is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best voices in the industry. (Onew means, or sounds like, the Korean words for soft or gentle, so he was given his stage name because he has a very calm and gentle personality.) His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, etc. Jonghyun -- the one with the bandanna -- is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed almost 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists, such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. He was one of the very first Idols to be known for this songwriting and composing skills. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key -- the one in green -- is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to stand out. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Minho -- the one playing basketball -- is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out, but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc., as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. And, as you may know, Taemin -- the one in yellow -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry, and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, including his peers. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. As you can see by their "Replay" MV, even at 14, Taemin was one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work, that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin is also one of the most popular solo artists in the industry and he is a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. As a SHINee World -- what SHINee's fans are known as -- or Shawol for short (pronounced like shy-wall), I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".
If you like their dancing, you should check out SHINee's "Replay" dance practice. ua-cam.com/video/gv60nR3_69U/v-deo.html. It's not an official dance practice video because dance practice videos didn't become a thing until 2010 when SHINee released the industry's very first dance practice video with their song "Lucifer," but it is a real dance practice video from way back to SHINee's debut days. SHINee were literally the first group to ever release a dance practice video specifically for fans to watch and they are the reason why Kpop groups produce dance practice/choreography videos today. To get to know all the members of SHINee, I recommend watching a group guide video called "A Very SHINee Guide." Not only is this one of the best SHINee guides, but it is one of the most recent (2018). ua-cam.com/video/ctIp6XGCK7E/v-deo.html. The person who created the group guide has also recently released (released in the last few months) individual member guides Taemin: ua-cam.com/video/hH5r88pfH9U/v-deo.html, Key: ua-cam.com/video/ADUrw9CeiEk/v-deo.html Onew: ua-cam.com/video/KK8rLkV5bk8/v-deo.html, and now, Minho: ua-cam.com/video/Ko9u6IjFzC0/v-deo.html, and Jonghyun: ua-cam.com/video/7EqwuWuZXcI/v-deo.html. SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing then they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, SHINee will always sing live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. SHINee set the standard. That is why they are so highly respected among their peers. It is literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard all other groups strive to reach. You really should check out some of their live concert performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The members of EXO and the members of SHINee are all around the same age and they were all part of the same trainee classes together, and, yet, SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO, so that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends. SHINee is pronounced like Shiny -- as in shiny stars or Shiny diamonds -- because they are so magnificent that they need a double ee to show just how brilliant they shine. They SHINe(e) like the sparkling performers that they are. That is also why their symbol is a diamond.
Replay is highly regarded as one of the legendary songs in KPOP. You can see 4th generation KPOP groups like TXT performing this song today with reverence . SHINee is also credited with their complex choreo and power vocalists, especially their leader Jonghyun. This was their debut song from 2008 and Taemin was only 14.
SHINee debuted in 2008, and Replay is their debut song! The MV was just reuploaded on the channel! They made it big the first time they came out with this song. Taemin was just 14 at that time and the oldest was 18
Ayyyeee Replay still slaps in 2021... this is there debut song Taemin was 14 Onew and Jonghyun were 18 and Minho and Key were 16 and yes they were babies RIP Jonghyun... and yes Vocals kings then and still 2021 SHINee’s Back!!!!!!
This is one of, if not the best, debuts in kpop! And like you said, they really grew up to be legends. Some more iconic MVs to react to are “Sherlock”, “Lucifer”, “married to the music” and “good evening”. I’d also highly recommend to react to their live performances, for example “excuse me, miss” and “why so serious”. You’re also totally correct to describe them as early vocal legends. Jonghyun (the one whose runs you pointed out) was one of the best and most unique vocals in kpop. SM is really the house of vocals in kpop: EXO, shinee, red velvet, girls generation, TVXQ, super junior and so on. I hope you’ll also react to some more older groups. 1st and 2nd generation kpop has some great gems and it’s really interesting to see how the music has evolved over the years.
This group was the first ever to introduce what we know as dance practice videos in kpop. Pioneers for kpop! This is actually a hard song to make a cover for, no one does it justice as SHINee does. However, recently TXT has done really good covers for Replay and Sherlock
This song actually came out in 2008, but at the time, UA-cam wasn't really used as a music video platform yet so it didn't get uploaded to youtube until 2011. Yes this debut is iconic, the girl in the MV is Victoria, a member of another SM group, F(X). Shinee was seen as a game changer especially when it came to dance. They really help raised the bar for idols being recognized as dancers/performers rather than just singers. They were really amazing when it came to choreography and dance.
This song is iconic, one of the best debuts of all time. It was a surprise debut, they were trained secretly and no prior promotions unlike other groups and the song was an instant hit. And in 2008 they won all of the Rookie awards presented in Korea, so they are the first grand slam rookie winners.
This is originally a 2008 banger and one of the best debut songs EVER (I will die on this hill), but the Japanese version was released in 2011. Taemin was only 14 when he debuted here lol RIP to Jonghyun (runs/high notes)
This was release in 2008 their debut , K-pop didn't start upload songs until 2011 - 2012 so you probably think that is when they did debut but actually it's 2008. It's one of my favourite shinee songs, I have a few oldies if theirs that I love ....
This song is their debut and came out in 2008 (I believe their company reuploaded a lot of videos which is why it says 2011). The youngest member, Taemin, was 14 when it came out and the oldest, Onew, was 18, and the song is about falling in love with an older woman
This is one of the legendary debut songs which a lot of Korean artists still cover till this day and the one that inspired so many artists to pursue music career like Shinee.
One of my top 3 favorite Debuts. The entire production of this song was stellar. Composition, arrangement, vocals, choreography, wardrobe, theme... perfect.
it was 2008 and Shinee debuted in Mar this year. Their youngest Maknae is Taemin which was 14/15 years old and the oldest Onew was then about 17 years old the rest are in between $15 to 16 years old and they are still around after about almost 13 years is because of their strength and unity as a group. Legendary songs and genre that they attempted....the 3 older ones are just out of army end of last year and rejoining with Taemin to have a comeback soon Feb 22. Something to look out for....Shinee is also pretty active in Japan and had released quite a number of Japanese albums which you may want to look into. Their live performances and vocals are really amazing which you may want to check out some of the popular Shinee concerts performances.
This is nostalgic for every kpop stan. ShiNee is no joke in kpop, seniors to be respected. This song is widely accepted as one of the best debuts of any kpop group ever.
The fact that idols still cover this song to this date just tells you how iconic it is!! And for Shawols (SHINee World aka SHINee's fans lol) it's even more iconic we love it so much 💕
shinee is like that iconic trendsetter group, so many of the groups we see nowadays were inspired by them because shinee was not afraid to explore new concepts (example: see lucifer and ring ding dong). all in all, shinee kings
this was one of the first tracks that got me into kpop back in 2010.....it’s soooo good and deliciously R&B and those runs OOF....shinee’s early stuff is soooooo good. honestly, their vocal strength and agility and range really set them apart back then
THANK U FOR DOING SHINEE I LOVE THIS GROUP SO MUCH, PLEASE DO MORE FYI THIS IS THEY DEBUT SONG MAY 25, 2008 SHERLOCK CLUE+NOTE LIVE IN JAPAN STRANGER LIVE IN JAPAN EXCUSE ME MISS LIVE IN JAPAN LUCIFER LIVE SLEEPLESS NIGHT LIVE QUASIMODO LIVE
the girl in the video is Victoria from f(x), another girl group from SM Entertainment that debuted in 2009. Please check them out, so that you can get a deeper dive into the SM family. I recommend: f(x) - La Cha Ta (debut song) f(x) - Danger f(x) - Electric Shock Keep coming with the great videos!!!
this song made them the grandslam rookie of the year for bagging all the awards given to all the rookies during the time of its release. and during that time their concept is refreshing as they are the group who sang songs fit for their age.
Replay is considered by many as the best debut song ever. This song and video was in 2008 (it was just reuploaded in SM channel in 2011). Taemin was just 14 at that time while the oldest Onew was 18. SHINee is considered as an experimental group - not really much into following trends but instead setting them - music, fashion etc. They always have something new every comeback. Most newer idols look up to them and isnpired them to become idols too. Hope to see more SHINee from your channel including the live performances (Excuse Me Miss, Sherlock from SWC4)
I enjoy this song every time I hear it. They were young when debuting but they were still great singers. It’s wonderful to watch their growths in everything.
This still hits, even 13 years later! Replay was on the charts all the time, but it never got overplayed. This song is timeless, and many young idols still cover it. The impact this had, you can't even imagine. No other group has debuted with such an instant hit.
2008. 2011 was when SM started uploading their MVs to UA-cam. They didn’t start subbing songs til mid 2018 though. Replay is a song that sticks with you forever.
This MV dropped in 2008 but uploaded to YT in 2011. It was their debut song, and is still covered & loved by younger idols today. Baby Taemin was just 14 here & couldn't really sing yet due to immature vocal cords. However, he is their main dancer out of the gate. Onew & Jonghyun are 18 and Key & Minho are 16.
One of my favorites and I think you guys would enjoy is shinee live excuse me miss it is fantastic. And don't forget taemins move and want mv they will blow your mind. Thank you guys enjoyed as always
This is the first time I’m watching anything SHINee related since Jonghyun’s passing. My heart is both so happy hearing this song and so pained at the same time.
I liked that you're seeing some olders kpop songs, because it's cool to see the evolution of the music with the groups. And if no one suggested Super Junior for you guys, I definitely will! They will have their 15th anniversary comeback this month, so it's a good time as any! -Bonamana -Sorry sorry -Mamacita -One more chance -Lo Siento -Super Clap -Burn the floor
Every time I watch Shinee I always have tears in my eyes espicially their oldest songs RIP jonghyun ( the one with head phones in this song) he was a very good singer and artist it is a shame that he commited suicidde.Shinee is what got me unterested in kpop and korean culture since 2009 I was 16/17 years old even though I am not part of "Shawols" and that I am an ARMY shinee is my favorite SM artist and taemin is my bias.
Replay is that song that touches every kpopper's heart. In the second the song starts, you can already say it is Replay and your heart pumps just like the song. I've been a shawol for almost 10 years and this song never gets old. It isn't just nostalgic, it's like a portal for another dimension (little bit dramatic, but I mean it, that's true), cause it is so classic, so iconic, it's a treasure 💎💎💎💎💎 thank you for reacting to 5HINee
I'm so happy 😊. Yay Shinee! Shinee's debut. Taemin is the skinny kid dancing up front and the youngest or maknae. He was around 14 when they debuted. He was the main dancer and the song Replay is about a boy in love with a older woman. This song started a kind of saga they sang several other songs that were like sequels to Replay throughout their career (i.e. LoveSick) 💚 Shinee's evolution is basically the evolution of kpop to what we know now. Keep watching it gives you a rich foundation for what you see when you look at their little bro groups like Exo and NCT.
This song is an icon, a milestone in the history of kpop. I still think that you will identify better with their latest songs, there is more of the vibe that you enjoyed in the new groups
Gosh, I love Replay! Knowing countless amazing songs of SHINee Replay still remains one of my all time favorites. The song came out in 2008 and it was their debut and boys were between 14-18 at that time. I would love to see SHINee’s Good Evening, cause that’s one of their most recent songs and shows how their style changed completely over the years. Besides it’s also one of my favorite SHINee songs.
Replay is THAT song that got released last 2008 but people are still noona neomu yeppo-ing to this date. LOL
I will Noona neomu yeppeo for the rest of my life... it could be forever since I've heard this song and somehow I still know every word
honestly the BEST debut till date.
Yesssss specially because I am a noona now
Sorry, I can only hear it in Lucas voice ! 😄
and... its stuck in my head..
This was their debut song and it came out in 2008, taemin the youngest was 14yo
your pfp 🥺💖 luhan UwU
*Just a little correction* I believe this song originally came out in 2008, the Japanese version of this song did come out in 2011 though.
I miss Jonghyun's beautiful voice so much. RIP Jonghyun
😭
Rest In Peace 🖤
😭🥀
I miss Jonghyun 😢
😖😞
This song is soooo iconic, I don’t think you guys have any idea how iconic it is for the world of kpop haha
Takes so many of us wayyy back 💀😂
The amount of idols in Korea and people who call SHINee themselves their idols and who have done covers to this one song itself is beyond your imagination 😂
Whew I love the way you guys are helping me relive my early years of discovery and being into kpop through these reactions
(Lmao you called it and my reaction 😂😂😂)
Yes! This was my first kpop song
the age range was actually 14-18. taemin being 14 and onew being 18
SHINee made their debut in 2008 with this song replay
WARNING! This is one of those songs that constantly and randomly just gets stuck in ur head 😂😂😂
so it replay's in your mind?
NOona nEomu yeppo
Soo true I’m humming it everyday
It’s late at night and I haven’t listen to much kpop since c*vid but I randomly just started watching Replay reactions 😂
for real 😩
I will say this again. Don't know if you're even reading comments, or have time to, but Shinee are the Prince's of KPoP. Their vocals are amazing. Their harmonizing is amazing. @@ainaliya8301 That's most likely what she meant. In Western countries, people use the term "lead vocal" rather than main whereas in kpop both terms are thing but it's two different positions.
Jonghyun also wrote Exo's playboy🔥
OMFG REALLY ?? I recently started listening to shinee and replay/ marry you is my current faves now I gotta check out the other one!🙏🏾
@@asaelidrauna5274 Itwill gonna be a loooong story. 🎶🎧🧨
@@asaelidrauna5274 Yes!! It's in the lyrics if you search for the translation ^^

This song is from 2008 not 2011 ✨ iconic
The only thing I can imagine while hearing this song is Lucas dancing after his gf death on the SuperM drama 😭
Lol me too
Legit ever since that video that’s the only thing I see anytime I listen to this song😂 still makes me laugh
LOL. That was legendary
Noooo 😭🤣😭😂
He was really like “well maybe if you stanned shinee.....”
Shinee’s vocals are what makes them stand out from the rest of boy groups. If you can give the b sides a listen. There are many gems to discover.
This is GOLD and will remain ICONIC for eternity
this song is iconic in kpop and poeple say its one of the best debuts, it really is an amazing song
I just want to say thank you 🌸 good job, shawol haha your text is perfect 💎💎💎💎💎
0:57 They debuted in 2008*** they uploaded few years later on UA-cam and taemin was 14 back then
Replay is highly regarded as one of the legendary songs in KPOP. You can see 4th generation KPOP groups like TXT performing this song today with reverence . SHINee is also credited with their complex choreo and power vocalists, especially their leader Jonghyun. This was their debut song from 2008 and Taemin was only 14.
SHINee leader is ONEW
Jonghyun has never been the leader of the group. The leader is Onew since 2008.
SHINee debuted in 2008, and Replay is their debut song! The MV was just reuploaded on the channel! They made it big the first time they came out with this song. Taemin was just 14 at that time and the oldest was 18
SHINee debuted in 2008 on May 25th ..
Onew -18
Jonghyun -17
Key and Minho - 16
Taemin -14
Replay Japanese version came out in 2011
SHINee was one of the first groups that i listen to, i listen to them when i was like 9 and im 22 now they will forever be my favorite group
This is a CLASSIC, everyone knows this song. SHINee is truly legendary
They debuted in 2008 when Taemin was only 14 years old an the leader 18 years old. You must watch SHINee live performances. They are amazing!!👌💕
BABY SHINEE!!!! ICONIC. The Babies all tryna shoot their shot at the Older Lady. ♡ them. Miss Jonghyun!!!!
This song comes on and suddenly everyone is fluent in Korean man I’m telling y’all
From SHINee Replay to Love Sick, now Marry You! LEGENDS ONLY!
FACT : many idols inspired because of this songs, the iconic taemin dance break, and the most iconic debut song.
This song is iconic, one of the best debuts of all time. It was a surprise debut, they were trained secretly and no prior promotions unlike other groups and the song was an instant hit. And in 2008 they won all of the Rookie awards presented in Korea, so they are the first grand slam rookie winners.
This is Shinee's debut song... And a little Taemin is the maknae. he's debuted with Shinee at 14 years old...
This is originally a 2008 banger and one of the best debut songs EVER (I will die on this hill), but the Japanese version was released in 2011. Taemin was only 14 when he debuted here lol
RIP to Jonghyun (runs/high notes)
REPLAY is SHINee's debut song and it comes from May 25th 2008.
REPLAY is the best debut song all of the time.
crying because i was there when it came out & crying because i know shinee history 😭 i was 13 years old
SUPER JUNIOR & SHINee my first groups, what old times! Thanks for you reaction! I'm sorry for my English. 😅 Greetings! 👋🏻
Tvxq and shinee were mine 🔥🔥🔥
This made me so happy, and so damn sad, all at the same time....I'm still not over it. :(
The young guy in yellow jacket is Taemin from “Idea” mv
SHINee debuted with this song in 2008. Taemin was 14 years... This song is one of the best debut song in kpop history.
Stan SHINee!
This song never left my playlist its still a good song till today for me.
Listening to old shinee makes me get teary eyed.. Jonghyun. I miss him. Beautiful song ^^
This is one of the legendary debut songs which a lot of Korean artists still cover till this day and the one that inspired so many artists to pursue music career like Shinee.
One of my top 3 favorite Debuts. The entire production of this song was stellar. Composition, arrangement, vocals, choreography, wardrobe, theme... perfect.
replay is literally known to this day as the best debut song ever. SHINee is so special and they have a comeback this month! :)
it was 2008 and Shinee debuted in Mar this year.
Taemin was only 14 here and Onew (the oldest member) was 18 !!
this is actually their debut song in 2008, and considered as one of kpop best debut of all time
this song was come out in 2008 and this is their debut song, until this time so many fans can't move on from replay 🤣 this song is a legendary song 👍
This is nostalgic for every kpop stan. ShiNee is no joke in kpop, seniors to be respected. This song is widely accepted as one of the best debuts of any kpop group ever.
The fact that idols still cover this song to this date just tells you how iconic it is!! And for Shawols (SHINee World aka SHINee's fans lol) it's even more iconic we love it so much 💕
shinee is like that iconic trendsetter group, so many of the groups we see nowadays were inspired by them because shinee was not afraid to explore new concepts (example: see lucifer and ring ding dong). all in all, shinee kings
this was one of the first tracks that got me into kpop back in 2010.....it’s soooo good and deliciously R&B and those runs OOF....shinee’s early stuff is soooooo good. honestly, their vocal strength and agility and range really set them apart back then
This is one of the most legendary songs in Kpop. Their age is between 14 and 18 at that time and Tamin was 14. LOL
Taemin was the kid with the skateboard! He was NOT even in High School yet! Crazy talented!
I literally just cried watching this reaction. I haven’t listened to this song in a while and seeing Jonghyun in the music video just broke my heart.
THANK U FOR DOING SHINEE I LOVE THIS GROUP SO MUCH, PLEASE DO MORE FYI THIS IS THEY DEBUT SONG MAY 25, 2008

the girl in the video is Victoria from f(x), another girl group from SM Entertainment that debuted in 2009. Please check them out, so that you can get a deeper dive into the SM family.
I recommend:
f(x) - La Cha Ta (debut song)
f(x) - Danger
f(x) - Electric Shock
Keep coming with the great videos!!!
Taemin was soo cute back then, well he still is
SHINee debuted 2008 with this song. MV just reuploaded in 2011. They debuted without teasers and whatnots. They were like a SECRET PROJECT.
Shinee the group that introduced me to kpop back in 2011, their songs will always be iconic for me. Thank you so much for reacting to them.
this song made them the grandslam rookie of the year for bagging all the awards given to all the rookies during the time of its release. and during that time their concept is refreshing as they are the group who sang songs fit for their age.
This is their debut song from 2008, it was re-uploaded on YT in 2011.
TVXQ Something, Catch me, Spellbound
YES YES YES!!
They are not ready
YESSSS
Up
Up
this is still my fav song from shinee ever. i was literally 9 years old when i first listen to it and now already 22. time flies man
Released in 2008 debut track. Lots of SM early mvs from 2008-2011 were re-uploaded to the new SMTown channel back then.
Shinee actually took synchronized dancing to a new level and pushed everyone else to follow suit… check out Stranger
It was released at 2008 , it’s their debut song Taemin was 14-15 years old back then.
One of the most legendary debuts in kpop history, people still be covering this song till this day.
Shinee are legends, just to keep you updated they are coming back with their 7th album in 22 February 😌
It will never get played out!! 1 of my all time fav song!!! Replay is my shit!!
Ah yes, the most iconic kpop debut song in history, by the most iconic group from sm ent, SHINEE!
Still one of my fave songs ever. Gets stuck in my head every time
I liked that you're seeing some olders kpop songs, because it's cool to see the evolution of the music with the groups. And if no one suggested Super Junior for you guys, I definitely will! They will have their 15th anniversary comeback this month, so it's a good time as any!

SHINee💎💎💎💎💎
It is one of the most versatile groups in the industry.
bruh nostalgic the emotions omg :((((((( I will vibe to this till I die lmao
Yessss fianlly shinee . This song is rated the best kpop debut song of all time and it really deserves this much admiration
The best debut song for a kpop group EVER!
And still missing Jjong everyday 🥺
This song is so iconic, I still listen to it till this day. It’s just so nostalgic, and makes me so happy
SHINee. IS. BACK.
I. MISS. JONGHYUN.
REPLAY came out in 2008 and it's probably the most iconic debut song in K-pop
Replay is that song that touches every kpopper's heart. In the second the song starts, you can already say it is Replay and your heart pumps just like the song. I've been a shawol for almost 10 years and this song never gets old. It isn't just nostalgic, it's like a portal for another dimension (little bit dramatic, but I mean it, that's true), cause it is so classic, so iconic, it's a treasure 💎💎💎💎💎 thank you for reacting to 5HINee
I feel like Replay is just that song every kpop stan has to know
One of the best debuts, period
our baby angel (Jonghyun) had the best vocal in the kpop industry- RIP
