Triumph meter has a lot of positive error. As per my exp, whatever it shows, there is between 5-10% positive error means speed is shown slightly higher than actual.
In some countries I think it's required to clock meter to positive error to discourage hyper riding, since this is an export product, maybe that could be the reason.
