- The PRO PM school & Charitable Organization "Foundation of Ukrainian Architectural Chamber" continue a series of lectures and discussions with prominent architects/urbanists/engineers on the topic of the reconstruction of Ukraine. Dozens of Ukrainian towns and villages have been destroyed and damaged during the war that has been going on in Ukraine since February, 24. And today we need to think about how we will rebuild the destroyed and mutilated cities after the victory. World practice has many different scenarios for rebuilding, so the solution to this issue must be conscious and meaningful. We seek to explore different practices and world experiences on this issue and invite you to join in our research.
On July 7, a meeting was held with a Ukrainian local historian, scientist, and researcher of the development of Kyiv during the Soviet period - Semen Shyrochyn, where we together investigated the case of Kyiv.
The moderator of the event is a young Ukrainian architect Vladyslav Fitsa, who graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in architecture from the Department of Fundamentals of Architecture and Architectural Design at KNUBA.
Language: English.
Ukrainian subtitles are available.
Thanks to Vladyslav Fitsa for translating the event to create subtitles.
