Absolutely true, I wouldn't mind supporting the project but for the Community edition to charge 110$ (9,20$ a month) is way to much for the level of "extras you get" and the worse part is per socket meaning if you upgrade your node RIP License. If they went with a one off payment for the community edition I'll be all in, but I'm new to the concept, started as IT almost 3 years ago and I'm used to VMware and Hyper V so I don't mind the popup. There are some workarounds but they get patched real fast and some are not "best practice" from what I've read on forums.
it looks like the unlicensed message on login screen will always be there unless you buy a license.
