If you have the time, we don't mind watching long videos. Often they need to be seen all at once. It's good to watch the whole concert. JHope had a very clear message.
If you don't mind, I'm just listening to your comment about BTS going to the front line. I'm not sure they will get special treatment. If North Korea declares war (it's scary that the Dear Leader has been seriously flexing the last 2-3 weeks), I"m pretty sure the ROK Armed Forces has a plan. (They won't go to any other conflicts, as one commenter suggested, they are still technically at war with NK)
Your comment about BTS bringing billions of dollars to the SK economy was true, but IMO, that might not be the case anymore. When they perform their concert in late summer/early fall of 2025, they will have performed together only once in 3 1/2 yrs. The general public are forgetful, even some Army will have moved on, and there will always be new Kpop music. But the rest of ARMY (me!) will Never forget! And it's not to say there won't have some kind of impact. And there might even be New Army! 💜💜💜❤❤❤💜💜💜💜
But the fact is they won't be involved in nearly as many things as they were.
Hybe, and BTS are releasing lots of things to keep Army going while the guys are away. But I think the momentum has passed. Or, it will be a different kind of momentum. And the military changes a person. I have said this on a couple of other channels. They will have seen and experienced things that they wouldn't have otherwise, even if they aren't deployed to the very dangerous DMZ. They will see the world in a "new light." And Jin and Suga will be nearly 33. The members might want to start a family, go back to school. I can even see JK moving to New York for a time to pursue his music. He seems to like the American style pop music. It's selfish of us to want things back to the way they were.
In the meantime, I hope RM, Suga and JHope will continue to write while they are enlisted. ..it will be interesting to hear their thoughts.
Anyway, I'm rambling, just sharing some random thinking. 😊
Immature Army don't need to bother replying with hate comments, we're bigger than that.
      💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

You're so right about how much their personalities can differ in each member. They are such highly nuanced people that it can seem extreme as if it's different people in one body. We always get surprised by their duality for this reason. Their song IDOL talks about them having multitudes inside them as they are fully of various ideas, perspectives, schools of thought, etc that shapes who they are and creates different sides to themselves. J-hope embodies that idea perfectly too.
Watching the footage of him taking charge of every single aspect of this album was incredible. He gave us a documentary about it plus UA-cam shooting sketches and so many interviews. You could tell that this was something important to him that he put his all into curating. It was the first solo project a BTS member did in this new era so he felt a lot of pressure to create a strong start for the others to follow and not let his members down (not that they'd ever see him that way).
Jimin was so proud of how well he did and how much love Hobi was getting. Hobi was really grateful that Jimin came to support since he was having a hard time worrying and being nervous about getting it all perfectly. Poor guys dropped so much weight running himself ragged but he said having Jimin there was like a light to remind him that he wasn't in it alone and give him some strength. I love the bond that these 7 guys have. Everyone should have people in thier lives to love them that deeply.

Thanks for the reaction!! I still get goosebumps from watching the crowd living their best life, his energy and stage presence here for over an hour was INSANE and unmatched!! HOBIPALOOZA was LEGENDARY 🔥🔥I'M SO PROUD 😭There were almost 15 million people watching on Weverse. He's so f talented and HIS VERSALITY. 😫 Hobi was the most anticipated artist, he made history as a solo artist and broke record becoming the highest ticket-selling artist in lollapalooza history just a few days after his official debut, he surprised the locals and sold out 1M of merch there in a few hours... JUNG HOSEOK DID THAT. 💜
Besides the records, he's just an incredible artist. One of the best performances I've ever seen fr. I've always like his songs and lyrics and I always find his music and concepts interesting and unique. His music has a lot of personality! Hope world is a high quality and a great mixtape. I remember I was really impressed since he showed us a strong color of him as soloist and versatility too. CNS was a great collab with Becky G and it was something that surprised everyone.
I've always really like J-hope as a soloist but it was with Jack In The Box that he really blew my mind. We got to know him as a person and as an artists even more and discovered new sides of him. I just love the lyrics and deepness of every songs, how each track connects perfectly with each other and the whole concept and of course bc it's full of bangers. I can't believe it's been year and a half since it was released .-. Anyways, I really liked the album a lof since the beginning but over the time I just loved it more and more and now is one of my favorites albums ever ngl. 🙌
After watching his other performances, interviews, the documentary, etc. I can feel even more Hoseok's raw passion for making music. He was already making a name for himself in the industry inside and outside South Korea, and with 'On the street' I've felt that even more too. Since then I noticed that lot of people got interested in him abd is appreciating his discography and stage presence amore and I'm loving that. I'm so happy for him and I'm so proud. Hoseok is amazing! 🔥💜 I miss him so much 😭

green Day was playing a concert at the other end of the lollapalloza at the same time as j-hope. but they didn´t get as many viewers and it ended 20 min before j-hopes did, so people who was going home saw the lights from army bombs and the cheering it was like an explosion compared to the other stage.
but this is the reason why BTS and taylor swift for instance would never be invited to headline a festival. because they know their selling power, and there is other artist there to perform too it would be sad if their fans could not attend because army or swifts was buying all the tickets in a few minuts. but they underestimated him hehe

Other soldiers who have been posted there said they would see mines being set off on the Northern side. People who join the buddy system (Jimin & Jungkook) tend to get posted to these places because they are the hardest places to be. And then you have Taehyung who is on the special forces unit, anti-terrorism unit. They all do something quite challenging and excelling. Jin is currently a corporal and jhope is a sergeant. They had to pass a lot of tests etc.
BTS won't let the government dictate their time in the military because of the way that could be perceived and used against them which is why they never wanted an exemption from the military in the first place.
Another point is despite the trillions brought in, the people in South Korea would be very divided if BTS were allowed an exemption from service (this topic was discussed a lot a few years ago). And it would cause loss in the public's perception and then in turn money.
In the end BTS stuck to what was the best for them as Korean citizens who grew up knowing it's what they would have to do, a sense of duty, and in the long run it is the best decision as no one will be able to have a hold or control over them. Like some K-pop idols who hold performances for fans whilst in the military tend to not be respected by other soldiers and the public etc. it's pretty complex. 😅 Sorry for the info rant.

Wait.. why was I thinking it was the actual lollapalooza concert in full. not boracity lmaoooo
When you bring up the topic of the military, all men in SK that serve, served and will serve are just being trained for IF there is a war. After their training they do get sent to a base in whatever rank or unit they were put in and some do get sent to front lines to GUARD. If there was a possibility of a REAL war, I honestly don’t think there’s any privileges or bc this person is famous we can’t send them in to fight. If it was like the issue with bts being exempted or not, BTS would refuse to be put in the back burner just because of revenue to their country. They’ll fight for their country like any other man just like the US.

So that 105,000 people for his stage is not accurate. And a lot of people will argue because a lot of headlines said that was the case. But 105,000 is the total amount of tickets that could be sold per day for Lollapalooza at the time.
It's true that tickets sold fast because of Jhope, and its true that the turn out for his stage is very impressive, but it wasnt an audience of 105k. Green Day was playing at the same time and their crrowd was large as well, and there were also 2 smaller stages at the same time.
I just thought I'd let you know, because you're always talking about people being misled by the media.
