Love the switch to harsh vocals. His range is so crazy, that he has to temper the use of his highs. Otherwise he'll strain. So the harsh vocals allow him to continue rather than just waving the mic to the crowd.
agree, the switch to harsh vocals literally added the screaming that don’t exist in actual song that is already monumental and it just become more spicy 👌
@imoanadz it absolutely makes them worth seeing live. I've seen them twice now in Detroit, and I gotta say. The talent is raw and real. Great shows. Lot's ofchangess to the album style, which made it so entertaining.
marcus is about to be 10yrs in the band and still his vocals getting better day by day, it just feels unreal. though in this footage there’s a missed opportunity to shoot jon doing solo, considering that is my favorite part of the song. but I’m so glad to finally see this banger’s live record
You commented on my post, so I'll return the favor. Revisiting this, it appears that the band is just getting better at mixing and production. It's not that the old stuff is bad. The new stuff just sounds better. It's not as heavy, but I actually enjoy that. They do soft music incredibly well for a metal band. For the most part It's always punchy, and it makes the really heavy moments, that much better. Love new northlane. Hope (as a fellow fan) you're doing well from afar👌🏻

Marcus is one of the most impressive live vocalists I've ever seen in this genre
Yeah he nails it live aye!
Totally, i mean you can hear in this performance there aint no pitch correction used, like most of big band do these days - he still nails it like wtf

Dude, they're killing the new song live. Band is as solid as ever and Marcus sounds great. And Nic just rules all the time.

Marcus is illegally good
The harsh is more suitable than high note..
But why he didn't do that in MV?
They don't play the outro live?
I don't think so. They didn't this time atleast
Did they play the outro?
They didn't this particular time
