Angel Reese gets to be “unapologetically her” and it’s considered a good thing. Caitlin Clark has to apologize for what people online say about her. LMAO 😂😅😂😅😂😅

Magic Johnson and Larry Bird had one of the greatest rivalries ever. And they played physically. But they didn't knock each other out. That was maybe the Bad Boys Pistons who I never respected. Play hard but don't aim to hurt someone.

    • @hikidunm1582
      @hikidunm1582 3 місяці тому +1

They hardly guarded each other. Bird wasn't going to guard a PG in open court. That was way more physical - for real. People who've played the game are calling it a Basket ball play but you're talking about aim to hurt someone - that's a tribal take & it's dishonest.

@@hikidunm1582 I know Magic and Larry played different positions. But I meant neither of them deliberately tried to hurt other players. There was the McHale clothesline of Rambis, but this was an exception. You said, "People who've played the game are calling it a Basket ball play but you're talking about aim to hurt someone." Don't agree. This wasn't a "basketball play" even though Caitlin graciously called it that after the game. Maybe she didn't see the replay. Angel wasn't blocking the shot but deliberately hit her in the head. As the commentators here agree it was a flagrant 1.
Angel is 💯 jealous of Caitlin and all the attention she's receiving. She says Caitlin's not the only one who fans come to see. But how many fans show up to watch any of Angel's games when they're not against Caitlin? And she's not the only one who's jealous.

2:10 the ability to switch a narrative immediately after the truth was just stated is insane here…she didn’t say the flagrant was a special whistle…she said the loads of missed calls must’ve been the result of a special whistle.

Why do we have to walk through the looking glass? If Wembenyana got smacked in the head like this we wouldn’t call it just competition.

The refs made the correct call in this instance. Having said that, the league and refs also need to keep in mind that the Sky only have 2 flagrant fouls this year and both are against Caitlin. Then you add in the arm bar that the other woman did on CC in this same game and it starts to look a little sus.

The special whistle was not about the flagrant foul. Surprised ESPN played the clip as if that's what Angel was talking about. She was talking about getting hacked on the other end of the floor and not getting the calls.

Is it me or does every Reese shot under the basket seem wild? Also, it seems like most of her offensive rebound stat is collecting her own miss under the basket. How did ESPN have Reese as #1 for Rookie of the year, and CC at #4?

That was wind up and a follow through. Almost the definition of a Flagrant 1. It was the right call. End of story.

A simple solution is available here, every time a black player goes up to the rim, every white player should execute that "basketball Move" and then we will see if it is considered a "Basketball Move"
As for all the commentators expressing their view of calling this a "Basketball Move" is nothing but bovine excrement
If Resse had been even close to blocking the ball, I could see that play but it seemed that Resse mistook her head for the ball and instead of playing the Joker, Resse went all Bat A Girl on Clark and Clark walked all of Resse's new shoes - again.

Do you know that in all the games the Sky have played this season the team have committed two flagrant fouls?
Both flagrants were against Fever. None against the other 10 teams they hvave played
Both fouls were against one player - Clark
i.e. around 80 players have lined up against the Sky and the Sky have flagrantly fouled one player TWICE and the other 79 zero
In 4 years there will be a story of a masked thug trying to break Caitlin Clark's legs
In 5 years Angel Reese will blow a layup and turn to the refs crying that her shoe lace was undone and asking can she start over
In 7 years Reese will star in low budget porn movies
In 20 years 30 for 30 will do a documentary on Reese Clark will decline to comment

She’s averaging a higher average range when making 3’s this season than Curry’s higher ever season average. It’s close like maybe 8 inches farther away and both just under 30 feet if I remember correctly but still impressive
