- Hello & welcome to a new episode, In this week's episode we go and film a very rare hidden gem, We venture to Birmingham to go and visit a long forgotten Barn, Filled to the rafters of what can only be described as irreplaceable classic car parts, This place was unbelievable, i mean i was speechless, i couldn't believe what i was seeing, all my childhood dreams came flooding back, As an avid lover of the metro, this was heaven to me, everything you could imagine was here, mg, mg turbo, metro, rover metro, austin metro, mini, ford, vauxhall, You name it in this barn had it, If you are building anything classic feel free to contact Tony and see if he can help you out, This place needs recognition, lets get his name out there,

Wow, what a goldmine….They could do with a shelving system, with individual bin locations. Then catalogue and photograph each part and list everything on a website, they would make a fortune and rescue so many cars….its a proper old school place. Pricing all seems to be in the gents head!
I think we should get a voluntary team to sort this out. Would make great content. Great video Stu love it.
That blue mini outside, my dad had one of those for a time with sheepskin seat covers. I remember driving back to Deal in Kent from London in it with my late dad when I was 16/17 (so 40 years ago now !) With my sister 21st Birthday Cake on a baking hot August day and the heater had got stuck on hot and we couldn't turn it off !!
One of the rear sliding window runners came off in my hand as we drove along and then 5 minutes away from home we found we had a hole in the fuel tank, as all the fuel ran out the bottom - so we pushed it home. Fond memories, happy times. Thanks for rekindling a happy memory of me with my dear dad.
If that place was sorted and all parts put on ebay or something I wonder how much it would be worth.

This old boy should advertise in all the car clubs he has parts for he'd make mint, there's no way in a million years he knows just how many/what parts he has got there looking at the piles of random stuff, some being there probably 30 years or more.
Personally instead of the so called pickup a better bet would be the Mini van outside, whichever you did (if you did) buy to restore it would make for some great content.

In 1988 i passed my driving test after 5 lessons in my grandmother's mini and I loved that mini, i could out drive alot of better cars in it, in 1996 I bought a cheap metro to drive to work and back and it was a good car and I enjoyed driving it as well and alot of people think metro's are crap cars but I don't agree with them, so nice to see this video crammed with all of this. I'd love to see you buy the mini van and get it done and going.

That focus just needs soldering on the dash clocks common fault easy if you are good with a soldering iorn 🤞 hope it doesn't go scrap
2nd hand clocks £40 to fix it
@@rallycrosscraig sure there are coded to the car and need reprogramming if you swap the clocks and the mileage won't be correct but yeah is alway a option if you have the right scanner sure my snap on crap can't recode them

In relation to the MG Rover prototypes, Tom Drives on UA-cam is a channel I recently came across and he has extensively documented them and got one moved to The British Motor museum.
I was down at m brotherinlaws over the year ,The old guy with campers ,comer.etc etc ,he had two containers never knew anything about .With late 70.80.90. S bike parts exactly like this .crazy .
I had all of those lights come up on my Focus. Was a common fault on the instrument panel that just needed a bit of soldering

Looks just like going round fletchers of old in Brum city centre, back in the 70’s and early 80’s it was just the same, a gold mine of car parts.
You mindnewcastle street all second hand motorbike shops n breakers , loved going down there with a pocket full ogh cash ,helped build me a couple off good custom m bikes ,
That place has a serious amount of good parts , he should clear out anything modern and keep all the classic mini metro parts

Wow....I owned a MG Metro and a Montego in the 90s. The Monty had a knack of stalling at busy junctions but was a great car when it was running 😅 Edit. Just noticed all the wow comments but...

I could have spent all day looking throughout that gentleman’s stock some cool stuff in there . Get the mini bought had a few of them changed all the engines in them to 1300 or 1500 hundred that made them sing a bit
That focus easy fix re solder the back of the clock's common problem suffer with dry solder joints .
I once bought a fiat rear light off ebay from a main dealers. Went to collect and they had a massive storeroom full of old spares they were slowly selling off. It could have been a full time job for someone.

This can be a common condition , it’s wrth that much ,unfortunately sometimes when it’s mega rare it’s wrth what someone’s willing to pay .
