Such a great show , Tina! Peggy is charming and living her best life! She’s honest about her situation ( like not her favorite house) but does not let those things get in the way of her friendships & activities…. Daily living! Love her And you look so pretty, Tina! Love the outfit and your hair and makeup! You look dressed for a date!!🌸
Another great episode, Live from the Lanai! Peggy is so lovely, anyone would be lucky to have her for a neighbor. I enjoyed your conversation, and great tips and ideas, as always!❤
You meet and interview such lovely people. As a widower, I look forward to renting a villages home for a month, to try many of the activities and see the places you ladies discuss.
I lived in The Villages for almost ten years but I didn't really care much for it. The only reason I came was to be close to my parents after my dad had a bad stroke. He died less than a year later and I stayed on to help my mother. I've moved on now since I didn't care for it. I'm living in Clermont in a beautiful place on one of the lakes down here. Watching this video made me finally realize why I didn't care for The Villages, I'm too much of an introvert. Its all a bit overwhelming for me socially. I definitely was not a Type A personality. I'd say that if a person is an introvert too, The Villages is probably not "your cup of tea." I also don't like how big the place has gotten. When my folks came down, the developer had not yet built beyond 466A. I liked The Villages then. Once they bulit all the way down to SR 44 and beyond, that was it for me. I had moved to the Plantation in Leesburg and thought The Villages was a nice distance away. Now they are not far from the Plantation. I think The Villages has gotten way too big now. At least now that I'm in the historic part of Clermont, I should be safe from The Villages coming down this far! 😅😅😅 I do say about it or any place a person might choose to live, "To Each Their Own!" This is a nice interview with a couple of nice ladies.
Thanks Michael! Yes to each his own! It is nice to get out of "the bubble" and take a short ride to lovely places like Clermont, Mt. Dora, Tavares, downtown Leesburg, Homosassa, Ocala, and so many other charming cities and towns. The restaurants outside the bubble have a lot to chat about! However to the introverts out there, it is what you make it. You can stay to yourself, take quiet bike rides or nature walks, and enjoy many solo activities without feeling like to have to join anything. But really, to each his own and we are happy you found your happy place :)
