when i started playing in 2.3 aratki itto was the banner char and i thought he was so cool so i spent every primo plus some christmas money for him and his weapon, ganyu was the banner char right after and then i knew she had to be apart of my team i played through 2022 but stopped for some reason, probably boredom, but ive come back to my favorite characters and just did this abyss with my ganyu melt team. have to say it was the best decision i made puling for her. i also had no idea what a 50/50 was cause i had insanely early pulls
Cryo is definitely my favorite element, it’s so upsetting to see how genshin completely forgot about it, I’m definitely going for shenhe, she’s one of my favorite designs 💕
This banner wouldn't be as bad if they start running it more frequently. I had 60 pity on it from the one that happened a year ago, so I only had to do a 10 pull this time.
Xilonen is a no-no. Kazuha is still king due to frequent grouping being critical for freeze teams as well as the ER boost from Xiphos’ Moonlight. You lose too much damage wasting rolls on ER for Ayaka, Shenhe, and Furina in this comp. TLDR: Kazuha + R5 Xiphos’ > Xilonen in freeze.

I got her for my Wrio, and I’m so satisfied with the dmg he does now compared to before owning her! He feels so much smoother to play with for me (I would’ve been so sad to leave him benched since he’s one of my fav characters)
Congrats on Shenhe~! I'd really recommend 4pc Noblesse for Shenhe. It's a bit less ATK on her but it's better for the team's overall dmg so Ayaka will do more which is the point of Shenhe in the first place.

As a fellow Cryo main, I approve this message. Though I personally believe that Shenhe shines more in mono-cryo teams versus freeze teams. When you only play her with 1 cryo dps (like Ayaka) and other non-cryo/anemo infuser characters, you aren't able to profit that much from Shehe's Quills and buffs. In contrast, if you had 3 Cryo characters on the team and, let's say, your Kazuha (who can infuse Cryo), ALL of them can use Shenhe's Quills and buffs and do more Damage. Since you have just gotten Ganyu as well, a team like *Kazuha / Ayaka / Shenhe / Ganyu* could work really well. Rotations are smooth kinda like a quick-swap burst dps team. Having more cryo characters also means more cryo particles for everyone, making energy recharge requirements easier to fulfill. Well, I'm sure youi'll have plenty of time to play around and test things out. Congrats on getting your Ganyu and Shenhe!

I want to build a new team around my Arle, but also want to have a 2nd good team around Ayaka, so should I pull for Shenhe or just get Furina? wriothesleys rerun is coming soon and ayaka will probably be in the inazuma chronicled wish that is also supposed to happen soon, then in 5.7 we will get skirk who is rumored to be a cryo dps. I doubt they will rerun eula since she has a bad reputation of being a physical dps so her sales wont be crazy high
I have Kokomi! One of the few characters I saved up for right when she was released. Even though she wasn’t meta for the end game content, she was a healer. Having a healer for the overworld was so nice as I would go through less food and have to visit the statues less. I also didn’t have Zhongli and didn’t really care for shielded in general. Kokomi has definitely been one of my most used characters ever since I pulled for her and I still use her to this day. The shogun is also a staple for me

But I've been wanting a Cryo team despite everyone telling me "oh but this *other* team is so much better, so much meta, so much easier to clear stuff with". You're using xilonen wrong. Trigger her E with the element you want the bonus dmg for. So the best rotation would be Shenhe E-Q -> Xilonen E2N -> Furina E-Q -> AYAKA dash-E-Q
not true you can use xilonen E on any element and you will get the damage bonus for all elements in her source samplers. “Xilonen has 3 Samplers with her that can generate different Soundscapes based on her other party members' Elemental Types, decreasing nearby opponents' corresponding Elemental RES while active.” the description never mentions anything about which element you use your E on
If you find yourself farming Qingxin flowers in the future, they grow on mountain peaks. I had to farm them alot in the earlier patches just know if you go to a spot where you don't see it immediately, try looking upwards. I think Ganyu also needs them so be prepared for that.
shenha and cocogoat worth every account even if everyone leaves them on lvl1 its 100% worth it then buy their skins and just chill out with them xD btw shes crazy buffer for chaska owners and something tells me capitano will be gg with her or maybe if skirk/colimbina shows up with cryo then shenha might be premium buffer just maybe :D
I was going back and forth about pulling for Shenhe on the current chronicled wish banner but then I remembered that one day we will have a cryo traveler and thought it would be freaking cool to run them together on a team. Even if traveler sucks (as per usual) Shenhe will be there to carry them lol

Lol just came back to genshin yesterday after over a year, pleasantly surprised that I successfully pulled her at 60, now I can continue to build the premium Ayaka team.
I'm also a cryo main and I love shenhe, I saved for a year and a half after getting wrio and I got her C4 and her signature, I'm so happy ! she's the bestest!!
Pretty hype when you get the 5 star you wanted on a miss! I missed 50/50 for Xiao and that was who I wanted the most on a miss as well, so it worked out great.
Gladly I got her on her second rerun ,because cyro was still a decent option and i really liked her. I'm glad i got her since she has helped me buff my wriosthley even so their teams are not meta at this point i just like maxing the characters i like for fun it's the main thing sticking me to this game yet.

Mona might just be better than kokomi here and you can save yourself a couple pulls Because you have shenhe now furina just simply isn't an option because her ERR reqs are too high for that team that already is an energy guzzling monster ESP with a c0 shenhe, and kazuha will always outperform xilonen in a freeze team just for the cc that ayaka desperately wants, not to mention furina actually ruins your cryo swirls and mandates you use charlotte. Mona can hold ttds proto amber or fav on top of her damage boost, since you might actually be overcapping on dmg percent with shenhe kazuha and furina so the 15% less buff at c0 isn't a big tradeoff. Her hydro app also lasts the same amt of time as an ayaka ult which is even better, one thing i will say is ayaka's ult doesn't snapshot omen since omen is considered a debuff rather than a buff Kokomi's just the comfort pick here mona will generally give u faster clears and freeze is already prety comfy if the chamber works with freeze so her sustain rlly isn't necessary, esp because every bit of kokomi's offensive utility mona can do.
I think Shenhe might need a bit of optimization 👀 if you tap her skill at the beginning of the rotation, then set up Furina and Xilonen / Kazuha stuff, you can burst with Ayaka, buff the first 5 hits, swap back to Shenhe and her skill should be off cd, so you can tap it again and buff 5 more hits of Ayaka’s burst! Not sure this would be the optimal rotation, but that’s something I’d be willing to experiment with… if only I had Ayaka (I just pulled for Shenhe, but I still miss Ayaka because I started playing a year ago, just after Ayaka’s last banner… there are rumors of an Inazuman chronichle banner just around the corner, tho 👀). Also, something that might be easily missed, is that Shenhe’s tap skill will buff all burst and skill damage from the entire team for 10s, regardless of quills 👀 so Furina’s pets will benefit from refreshing Shenhe’s skill mid rotation too!
I have to share my chronicled wishes: Shenhe came home after 20 wishes. And then I lost my 50/50 to Baizhu (which A-Okay for me) and then with a very high pity Ganyu also finally came home!! ☺️
Well I need to thank you I was pulling while you were pulling for shenhe and I was out of primos I bought some standard wishes and I got a five start when you got Ganyu and with the starglitter from the five star gave me I got the five star I want when you got Shenhe now I will always watch your videos while pulling for someone😊☺
What you can end up trying against bosses if you want to play Ayaka is Ayaka/Kazuha/Xilonen/Shenhe, it's technically mono cryo but it should work better than not being able to trigger freeze at all, the issue with this team unfortunately though is that you'd be taking away both Kazuha and Xilonen so your second team can potentially suffer a lot without at least one of those options available depending on who you play, unless you go for overload/Kinich teams for example (there's other options too but it heavily depends on who you have on your account).
To be honest it's when we reach Snezhnaya where Cryo will get it's ressurgence, I mean with the Cryo Archon the odds that Shenhe can get some value back is not to be dismissed but only time can tell
i heard shenhe was coming for lantern rite, i got so excited bc i bought her skin from the last lantern rite. thinking ya know she will get a rerun.. my main is ayaka and ive been waiting for more than year for shenhe. i lost the 50/50 to baizhu(which im honestly not even mad ab) took another full 80 pity to get shenhe. but in the end i am a very happy ayaka main, with my pretty shenhe!
I prefarmed for Shenhe. I lost to Baizhu C1 at 77 pity, then I did a bad thing. I used my guaranteed for Xiao bc I feel like getting him in time for lantern rite was poetic. Got him at 80 pity. Now I have no primos left. 18 Days for a miracle to happen. Not upset about having Xiao and Baizhu C1 at all. Just disappointed at my lack of self control xD

If you find yourself farming Qingxin flowers in the future, they grow on mountain peaks. I had to farm them alot in the earlier patches just know if you go to a spot where you don't see it immediately, try looking upwards. I think Ganyu also needs them so be prepared for that.
shenha and cocogoat worth every account even if everyone leaves them on lvl1 its 100% worth it then buy their skins and just chill out with them xD btw shes crazy buffer for chaska owners and something tells me capitano will be gg with her or maybe if skirk/colimbina shows up with cryo then shenha might be premium buffer just maybe :D
I was going back and forth about pulling for Shenhe on the current chronicled wish banner but then I remembered that one day we will have a cryo traveler and thought it would be freaking cool to run them together on a team. Even if traveler sucks (as per usual) Shenhe will be there to carry them lol
i thought i didn't care for shenhe but when the banners changed i was suddenly pulling for her. probably because it bothered me for how long she was gone but so far she's been a great addition for my ganyu and wriothesley.

Pretty hype when you get the 5 star you wanted on a miss! I missed 50/50 for Xiao and that was who I wanted the most on a miss as well, so it worked out great.
Gladly I got her on her second rerun ,because cyro was still a decent option and i really liked her. I'm glad i got her since she has helped me buff my wriosthley even so their teams are not meta at this point i just like maxing the characters i like for fun it's the main thing sticking me to this game yet.
Venti is always a good addition to freeze teams, i would recommend pulling him if you want cryo to shine

congrats on Shenhe ! lol if you ever wanna locate specialty stuff in liyue easier (such as the flowers), i'd suggest taking out yanfei because she can help track on the mini map!

It helps to use characters with specialty marking passives when farming for them. Besides fontaine, there is a 4 star option for each region.
Mona might just be better than kokomi here and you can save yourself a couple pulls
Because you have shenhe now furina just simply isn't an option because her ERR reqs are too high for that team that already is an energy guzzling monster ESP with a c0 shenhe, and kazuha will always outperform xilonen in a freeze team just for the cc that ayaka desperately wants, not to mention furina actually ruins your cryo swirls and mandates you use charlotte.
Mona can hold ttds proto amber or fav on top of her damage boost, since you might actually be overcapping on dmg percent with shenhe kazuha and furina so the 15% less buff at c0 isn't a big tradeoff.
Her hydro app also lasts the same amt of time as an ayaka ult which is even better, one thing i will say is ayaka's ult doesn't snapshot omen since omen is considered a debuff rather than a buff
Kokomi's just the comfort pick here mona will generally give u faster clears and freeze is already prety comfy if the chamber works with freeze so her sustain rlly isn't necessary, esp because every bit of kokomi's offensive utility mona can do.
I think Shenhe might need a bit of optimization 👀 if you tap her skill at the beginning of the rotation, then set up Furina and Xilonen / Kazuha stuff, you can burst with Ayaka, buff the first 5 hits, swap back to Shenhe and her skill should be off cd, so you can tap it again and buff 5 more hits of Ayaka’s burst! Not sure this would be the optimal rotation, but that’s something I’d be willing to experiment with… if only I had Ayaka (I just pulled for Shenhe, but I still miss Ayaka because I started playing a year ago, just after Ayaka’s last banner… there are rumors of an Inazuman chronichle banner just around the corner, tho 👀). Also, something that might be easily missed, is that Shenhe’s tap skill will buff all burst and skill damage from the entire team for 10s, regardless of quills 👀 so Furina’s pets will benefit from refreshing Shenhe’s skill mid rotation too!
I have to share my chronicled wishes: Shenhe came home after 20 wishes. And then I lost my 50/50 to Baizhu (which A-Okay for me) and then with a very high pity Ganyu also finally came home!! ☺️

What you can end up trying against bosses if you want to play Ayaka is Ayaka/Kazuha/Xilonen/Shenhe, it's technically mono cryo but it should work better than not being able to trigger freeze at all, the issue with this team unfortunately though is that you'd be taking away both Kazuha and Xilonen so your second team can potentially suffer a lot without at least one of those options available depending on who you play, unless you go for overload/Kinich teams for example (there's other options too but it heavily depends on who you have on your account).

her scaling is so abysmal youre better off investing the books into another char than into her

To be honest it's when we reach Snezhnaya where Cryo will get it's ressurgence, I mean with the Cryo Archon the odds that Shenhe can get some value back is not to be dismissed but only time can tell

i heard shenhe was coming for lantern rite, i got so excited bc i bought her skin from the last lantern rite. thinking ya know she will get a rerun.. my main is ayaka and ive been waiting for more than year for shenhe. i lost the 50/50 to baizhu(which im honestly not even mad ab) took another full 80 pity to get shenhe. but in the end i am a very happy ayaka main, with my pretty shenhe!

I prefarmed for Shenhe. I lost to Baizhu C1 at 77 pity, then I did a bad thing. I used my guaranteed for Xiao bc I feel like getting him in time for lantern rite was poetic. Got him at 80 pity.
Now I have no primos left. 18 Days for a miracle to happen.
Not upset about having Xiao and Baizhu C1 at all. Just disappointed at my lack of self control xD
