Enjoy your reviews, Boge, and especially enjoy your instrumental treatment of the Battle Cry of Freedom, as well as the Jeff clips you generally include at the end of the videos. Sure do miss him. 👍🙏
Boge, you look great with that handlebar 'stache! I love my 4 1/4" 1911's. Maybe not everyone's EDC choice, but definitely MY choice. Love you, brother.
Man, that’s a beautiful pistol… This past year I was looking at a Tisas commander size 1911 called the Devil Ray, which is similar with the bobbed grip for a really sweet price. But Springfield really knocks it out of the park with overall fit & finish. I’d love to get one of those 1911 TRP’s. Love your reviews & videos!
Thanks for this review, I could always use another 1911 and always wanted a Springfield. I do like the style of your videos and the background music. Thanks again!!
In 2003 I bought a new stainless Springfield TRP, full size. It's very similar to what you've got, except longer and no bobtail. It does have a magwell extension (good), but also a full-length guide rod (pain the butt). Tried to sell it twice over the years - got no interest. Finally decided it's a keeper. Also in my collection is a nice Jeff Quinn GP100 - a wonderful revolver to shoot.
Please send me the link to where you bought that hat? That is an awesome looking hat I'd like to purchase one for myself please send me the link I'd appreciate it. Thank you sir.
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3FLQ8R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Currently shown as UNAVAILABLE on Amazon, but you maybe can find it elsewhere, or they may get them back in stock. It's a great hat, I have them in silver, black, and brown.
That’s a sharp 1911, but from those closeup shots, it’s not $2000 sharp. SA is getting as bad as Kimber with their prices combined with awful QC. It may shoot good, and that’s what matters, but you can definitely tell that’s a factory gun, and when you shell out that much for a gun, that quality does matter.
@TheHaydenator like what??? Springfield makes really good 1911s. I have the loaded model and the range officer, and they are amazing. Im not paying that mich for the trp either, but i wish i had it.
@@justusbryant7366 I thought you were prolly a SA fanboy, and you just proved it, haha. They do make good 1911’s, and like I said, if it shoots good, that’s what matters in a gun, but that price point to me is just ridiculous. If you’re going to charge that much, at least put some refinement into the gun and don’t ship it out looking like Jim Bob milled it out on his garage CNC machine, slapped it together, and shipped it out the door. It’s the same thing I ran into when I was looking at their Prodigy pistol last year when it caught my eye. It got me in the market for looking at 2011’s but luckily I did my research and saw how many issues people were having and what poor QC SA had on them, and I realized for only a few hundred $ more, I could get an actual custom made 2011. $300 more in fact than this 1911, and I had my 2011 ordered and built to my specs and had it in my hand in 3 weeks. Albeit, the price difference between this TRP and an actual custom 1911 is a little wider than that, but still, if you’re going to pay that much for a handgun because it’s a factory gun that’s imitating a custom gun, why not just get the real thing?
@TheHaydenator a fan boy?? Well every springfield gun ive bought has been really good. Got the echelon too and they say the hell cat is good. So yea call me a fan boy. I also have colt 1911s i love colt too. Springfield also has the emissary and ronin which are very good. If you cant afford a trp then id go with one of springfield other options. They make 1911s better than anyone else on the so called budget side. Screw all that tisas and all that crap made in turkey and Phillipines that everyone wants to get on here and flaut like its something special.
Great info and review on a badass 1911 ! I just picked one up about a month ago…. Shoots accurate and packs a punch in 45 ACP
Thanks. This is now my go-to carry 1911.
Big fan of Springfield Armory, nice pistol, thanks for the review Boge👍🙏

Love your vidios. Can you please tell me what happened to your vidio on the Tyler's Gun Works 1911? Thanks you for your great vidios.
UA-cam took it down for "violating UA-cam's Community Guidelines".
You can see it on Rumble here: rumble.com/v4tyysh
As always Boge: great video, really like how you tell your listeners where to get the things that you use. Jk
Nice
Are standard Springfields made in the states? Is there any hand fitting or just on the professional?
Only springfields I know of that are hand fitted are the ones that come out of the coustom shop and it will say custom shop on the slide
Looks like the Sig Emperor Scorpion. I’m still looking for a bobbed 3” for edc.

Well it can't fit into my pocket but I still would like to have it
what was the M.V>???
Muzzle velocity? I didn't clock it, but you won't lose much with 3/4" shorter barrel.
🐸✝️
Psa $1,899 😂
It's hard to hear your voice, you sound alot like Jeff
Bigotitos Lindos
Aluminum frame and shorter barrel/slide means it's going to kick bad.
Only if you are a girly man.

People will say anything to make themselves feel better about what they got and because its out of their price range 😂
@@justusbryant7366 nah, it just blows my mind that anyone would pay that much when there’s so many better options on the market.
