The guy was struck on the right temporal area with cervical whiplash by the back of the head of the Arellano player causing a severe head concussion rendering the guy unconscious. His teammate should have not shaken the guy because there’s a possible cervical injury. The responding EMT DID NOT PLACE A CERVICAL COLLAR AND DID NOT IMMOBILIZE THE HEAD.There was a portable Oxygen tank but it was never utilized.The basketball players should be taught basic medical emergency. Hoping for his quick recovery with NO NEUROLOGICAL COMPLICATIONS.
In cases of possible cervical injuries, you don't incline the stretcher. The EMT should immobilize the head by placing a cervical collar and 2 rolled towels on each side of the neck.The EMT should have started Oxygen thru mask or nasal cannula.

I think they’re doing it to encourage or egg him on. Sort of telling someone to keep fighting or not give up. That’s how I see it.
