Did he not realize that this was almost an entirely different line-up and was off M.F.K.R.? I'm surprised he just jumped into it without more background story. You can't just transition to M.F.K.R. like it's just another day at the office. It's a whole different band and different vibe.
i just gave a brief backgrround story on the album in my own comment, feel free to add anything in the reply if you see anything missing. rather then questioning why hes jumping into this without a background story, how bout us maggots provide that for him :D
to give a decent idea on this album, this is slipknot before they were signed. they had a different lineup of members than we know from today/recent times. this was them trying to find their sound with for sure experimenting with funk, blues, rap and a little bit of early style black metal. most of these songs will later be cut apart, stretched out or sped up, tattered and torn to make new songs that we know now. still even up to the album we are not your kind has hints of riffs and melodies from mfkr. Anders Colsefni was the original vocalist in slipknot and he is very respectful and humble about his history with slipknot. he doesnt consider him self as a creator of slipknot, and he doesnt wish for any rights or pay outs from the band at all, hes done interviews and spoke about it and he seems very humble, and he doesnt regret parting from slipknot cause hes happy for where they have made it today and understands if he stayed they might not have made it. mfkr is the most underrated (understandably) , but most important album in slipknots history.
Yeah this shit is raw especially with Anders Colsefni as the original vocalist Donnie Steele on I think lead guitar before Mick joined in 1996 yeah this was the best Demo release from any band
I still consider it a studio album, it was distributed and had 60000$ dollar of production. Maybe some members (mainly Corey apparently) don’t want this to be considered an album.
If we're going back in time like this then you need to give either the Gold Disc or MFKR versions of Gently a listen. Perhaps you could even delve into the Silver Disc and see what Corey was like before Slipknot's rise to stardom.
I'll be honest, I'm really not the biggest fan of MFKR. It's not because of any particular reason, there's something about it that doesn't work for me personally but as always, great vid K!
I'm sure he's a great dude, but I'm so glad Anders got replaced by Corey. MFKR has a couple of decent songs, but in my opinion, this is not one of them.
Mate you need to change the title of the videos, its too long and yu cant read what song youre reacting to. All you can read is "rapper reacts to slipknot" I opened a few lost my patience, it would be much easier if I knew what song it was

@@FlyboyHelosim anders vocalist, josh and donnie guitar, paul bass, shawn percussion and joey drum right??
@@heavymetalhead9661 Pretty much. To be exact: Anders Colsefni (lead vocals, auxiliary percussion), Donnie Steele (lead guitar), Josh Brainard (rhythm guitar, backup vocals), Paul Gray (bass, backup vocals), Shawn Crahan (auxiliary percussion - and I believe samples until Craig joined), Joey Jordison (drums).

the first version of Gently that came out on this album is good too
I think imma give this slipknot album a listen
Instrumentally it's amazing. Vocally. Eh.
play the track "slipknot" at 1.25 speed and you'll recognise it 😅 also do nothing/ bitchslap is oddly brilliant
@@sammitchell3657 it’s not because Corey is an amazing vocalist that any other random vocalist sucks.
@@sammitchell3657Nah vocals are great, more brutal & hitting lower registers than Corey could, sounds like a different band & is great for what it was
Great song. Best guitar solo ever.
Hell yeah. 🤘🏻
You should definitely check out "killers are quiet" off this same album
Craig...

I can understand that. Thanks!
Interesting. Hadn't heard this one before. Thanks for reacting and sharing. 🤘
What's happened to the last two Slipknot Saturdays? There hasn't been one for two weeks now.
esta cancion es arte.
Reminds me of an early incubus as well! Definitely some songs off science.
Thank god Corey came in and saved the band
100%
There's a version of Wait and Bleed with both Corey and Anders on it. It's unnecessary at best.
Spit it out and really just eveything from the self titled and Iowa albums are highly recommend.
Could you probably check out Normani’s Wild Side and Fair. Since you haven’t reacted to her (I think), I do believe you’ll like her
Can you react to Chloe have mercy if you haven’t watched or heard it yet it’s so fire and love your UA-cam videos

Check out primus Kurtis 🤘

Weird, I don't have an issue reading the titles and I've never had anyone else tell me they have. What kind of phone are you using?
