This is the best material associated with her yet. Simply stunning. God I hope it can end up picking up enough views so the album gets released. C'mon people. Everyone needs to share this on their Twitter, Facebook etc accounts. You deserve all the success in the world Ella
Wow this is by far the best work ella has ever done..Lyrically it is above and beyond anything she has ever written..it oozes darkness and angst in a very legitimate way..it almost glamourizes suicide. WOW.
I really thoroughly enjoy this, and I'm 13 (almost 14, but that doesn't really make a difference). Something about her reminds me of Sarah Blasko, I think it's the little dances. Can't wait for In Tongues!,
I try to fill my cup with light I fight to Overcome this...Low high High Low Uh oh oh baby don't you feel no sorrow Oh baby don't you feel no pain The end is breathing heavy on you The weight of your blood is sure to rise again Low High Low High it's The wave that i must ride and i learn to love the turning of the tide I try to fill my cup with light I fight to Overcome this... LOW HIGH LOW HIGH LOW HIGH LOW
oh man,,,,, this sounds just like every other Australian playing indie music at the moment... in killing Heidi, your voice whaled man, it was unique and there was no sign of that in this video. We want sexy dred Ella back with a rocking sound!
This clip is almost four years old!!! If as you proclaim this is the current sound of many artists "Now" then perhaps Hooper was ahead of time with this track!!! this was her 4 years ago and is not her current sound. she has a double E.P release Venom & New Magic and she rocks the fuck out!!! Forget Heidi, she suicided years ago.
that ain't true.... Killing Heidi's first single "Weir" was released in August 1999 and reached No. 6 on the ARIA Charts (and Platinum sales) by the end of 1999.
the truth is killing Heidi's debut song weir as well as their album reflector wasn't released until the new millennium which is 2000 the year that Paula Yates died and i was 5 in other words i started primary school back then
+hayley harrison Yeah damn I was thinking of who but i kept thinking gossling... sarah mitchell.. i like this style of music but its over done and for Ella to not be in Killing Heidi and doing it kinda makes me sad.

One of the best Aussie talents ever, Ella Hooper!!!
She is like a wine, getting better with age
Wow this is by far the best work ella has ever done..Lyrically it is above and beyond anything she has ever written..it oozes darkness and angst in a very legitimate way..it almost glamourizes suicide. WOW.
My alltime favourite singer, and her debut solo single was released the day my daughter was born -- I find that so cool :D
The girl from Killing Heidi is all grown up...I miss Killing Heidi but this new music from Miss Hooper is awesome
Ella was beautyful back then, now she's gorgeous. And sings even better.
Excellent. Surpassing the standard she has set with Killing Heidi and The Verses
A great song by a great Aussie talent...Too bad we don't hear more music like this on the radio these days.
I've heard It on the radio a few times recently ;)

Even though her dancing isn't spectacular, it's still entrancing.

Do you have lyrics this song? I really like this song ^^
Every song is different. Reminds me every eurythmics song was different.
This song has balls
why is this not on Triple J?
I can't believe how low the views are, thumbs up if you have told your friends to listen.

+Beezer Pretty sure they told her to stop that kind of singing for fear of wrecking her vocal chords... Damn shame!
Yeh - she had to have surgery on her chords ... :(

Good song, I like the music. I didn't you can do go-go dance, shake these legs Ella. Smiles
Hmm yeah, I don't know about this. Amazing voice. Not sure about the song. Unique video.
that ain't true....
Killing Heidi's first single "Weir" was released in August 1999 and reached No. 6 on the ARIA Charts (and Platinum sales) by the end of 1999.
Weir actually got number 2 on the Aria charts . Mascara went to 1. And the reflector album was #1 for 4 weeks.
My god I cannot believe she's 30....seems like yesterday she was like 12 or something and fronting Killing Heidi
Oh dear how could you even put them in the same sentence!!!????
the truth is killing Heidi's debut song weir as well as their album reflector wasn't released until the new millennium which is 2000 the year that Paula Yates died and i was 5 in other words i started primary school back then
What with?
;,,'( no.... your unique gift from God was Rock chick of tge Universe...
Bring back the band!!
Killin Heidi fan 4 life.
I'm surprised Ella didn't dislocate her shoulders in the making of this clip, she's getting thrown around like a rag doll..ouchy!!
haha or whiplash at the very least.
I'm fairly sure ella is a ninja and is incapable of being injured!!! ;)
Er... your point is?
sounds alot like little birdy style of music
+hayley harrison Yeah damn I was thinking of who but i kept thinking gossling... sarah mitchell.. i like this style of music but its over done and for Ella to not be in Killing Heidi and doing it kinda makes me sad.
Were you inspired by the amazing kate bush to go dancing in a forest.
You "can" but you "may" not
but what im trying to say is i didn't become a fan of ella till 2000 aka the new milliniem
my point is truthfully straight and wise I wanna see Ella hooper waste Miley Cyrus
She looks a little similar to Stephenie Meyer ;)
nope sixteen back in 2000 ellla hooper is the aussie rock version of brit spears but better!
She's on drugs!
malcasablanca is that a bad thing?
Josh Mcdowell Not in this context, for sure!
IMO boring compared to Killing Heidi.
