RULES:
The Ultimate Evolutionary Simulation (UES) is the Ultimatrix Program that forces Alien DNA to evolve by processing it through a simulated war zone, until a combat-centric evolutionary change occurs. This simulation generates numerous variable threats, so you never know exactly how the alien would change.
1) Color Palette Must Change; All Official Ultimates have a different color scheme than their base form.
2) Trade Off; The Ultimate must gain a new ability and lose something in order to get it. (previous power or physical feature)

I’m not sure if this was intentional, but I feel like giving Ultimate Big Chill thermal vision could actually help against his predator’s hypnosis.

That actually like his creation of ultimate heatblast developing a way or method to fight back their natural predator also work on his ultimate stinkfly because the goo bomb one are now more offense against bug lizard while normal lepidopterran slime can easily get rid off

You turned ultimate big chill from a stupid recolor to an eldritch mountain demon, and i could not love it more.
I feel like there’s a reason why Ult Big Chill is just a recolour it might be due to its asexual reproductive nature. As creatures that reproduce asexually barely have any selective variations instead have mutated genes because of that they can only evolve this far
I'm going to be honest, I really like ultimate big chill. When I was a kid and I heard "Ice so cold it burns" I thought it was pretty cool, it was some heat, smooth as ice, chillin like a villain, fire. Other generic fire and ice puns.

1:55 To answer the question of "Why the hell is he a giant turtle?", Ultimate Humungousaur is supposed to be like an Ankylosaurus, who were basically dinosaurs with protective back plating and clubs on their tails to help combat larger carnivores. Also explaining why he has the mace tail and why his helmet looks the way it does if you've seen what an Ankylosaurus looks like

1:54 Ultimate Humungousaur isn’t a turtle, he’s actually become an Ankylosaurus which is why he has a shell as well as the mace on his tail. And I actually love how the designers leaned into making him a more of a specific dinosaur. He’s also tied as my favorite alongside Ultimate Echo Echo.

i know i’ve commented this before, but I love how the ultimates are monstrous/kaiju-esque. the idea of ben becoming something so large and losing his humanity overtime in ultimate alien would really play with the central themes of the show
Edit: I would’ve wanted the Ultimatrix to essentially be Ben’s version of the symbiote to Spider-Man. It makes him insanely strong, but overtime, makes him more animalistic and aggressive towards his foes and allies. I wanted him to lose himself with the power, and by the end of the series, he gets the sword that lets him change reality and eliminate anyone who stands in his way, but ultimately makes the better decision after learning what happens when someone gains TOO much power.
The episode where the ultimates came to hunt ben down would be awesome with these designs and would play more into the doomsday scenario simulation that created them
Maybe if ghostfreak came back and somehow managed to have a party of ultimate dupes against Ben would b so cool

Oh I love that idea, and it would work great with an idea I would have done if I wrote Ultimate Alien. I think it would have also helped the themes of the show if when Ben used the Hyper Evolution Function, the Ultimate Form replaced the regular alien in the playlist.
So, if Ben was to go Swampfire, then evolved it into Ultimate Swampfire. Ben would lose regular Swampfire, as Ultimate Swampfire replaced the original transformation. This is an idea I had because the Ultimatrix is supposed to be a weaponized version of the Omnitrix, and is already altering the DNA of the transformation when using the Hyper Evolution Function. So why would you design a weapon where you need to go through all these extra steps to do the same task over and over again.
This not only gives consequences to Ben spamming the Hyper Evolution Function, but if we went with your idea, they could have made it so Ben would act more aggressive and unstable the more he used the Ultimates.

I like how some of these redesigns are very easily turned into horror monsters. It really plays in to the fact that these aren't natural. Bugaboon, Shutterswarm, Blistermoss, and Chainscale definitely seem like the kind of monsters you'd see in "Genetic manipulation gone wrong" horror games
It makes sense though they are aliens some of which very feral so they’d look quite scary

I was a huge dinosaur nerd as a kid, so when I saw the Ultimate Humongosaur design I thought "oh cool! An ankylosaurus!" which actually does fit because regular Humongosaur has some stegosaur features (notably the thagomiser, but the armour on his back when he grows looks kinda like the back-plates that some of stegosaur's cousins had) and ankylosaurus was from the same lineage of dinosaurs

The way the Ultimatrix works is that it forcefully evolves an alien to help it better survive combat. Of course, that's a bit of a subjective thing, meaning it probably puts the DNA through some kind of algorithm.
*Meaning* theoretically, Albedo messing with the Ultimatrix's ultimate algorithm could make any and all ultimate redesigns canon.
That’s cool Idea I think the ink tank should take. Tinkering with The Ultimatrix could alter the Survival Evolution Simulation into different Ultimate forms
If I remember correctly,
The Ultimatrix basically puts the alien in a simulation where it has to survive in a war or battle and as time goes, the alien begins to adapt and evolve into a new form to be able to protect itself better and gain new abilities to further support the alien in fighting and after that's done, the alien will be ready for Ben to use it's ultimate form
You'll probably never see this, but I've always loved ultimate big chill and his concept! I liked the idea of a 'moth drawn to a flame' pairing with his 'fire', and thought up the idea that he could project flames that draw the heat out of things to fuel themselves, in a way 'flash-freezing' them!
If you think of how he could use the temporal fracture, it'd mean that anything his fire touches would instantly super-heat, then freeze over, and then in turn shatter! This however would mean he could no longer make long-standing ice structures. In addition, he could focus these flames within himself, allowing him to 'eat heat'!
I think it'd be cool to see like instead of breathing out, him now breathing in to consume heat, leaving things frozen and causing his body to become hotter and hotter, until it ignites!
Additionally, I thought that this concept would keep it's intangibility, rather losing its resistance to cold and actually a weakness to it! After all, the flames require heat to burn and glow brighter, and they would live in a warmer climate!
It'd be interesting to see a frozen battlefield, in which ultimate big chill only steps on the parts of which the flames are remaining!
Anyways, just wanted to drop that idea!

I liked Ultimate Big Chill's power as a visual. I think they could have played with it in the ice spreading, or the fire being able to blast through walls before "freezing".

Minor correction, in 17:14 you mention Ultimate Big Chill can make mass mithosis, actually this form of reproduction is budding, mithosis have to make 2 perfect copies, in budding you can make several clones way smaller than you

I wouldn’t call Humungousaur a T-Rex, tbh I associated him more with a Brachiosaurus because of his long-ish neck and flat teeth.

Gotta remember that the ultimates had to be practical enough for them to make action figures for. I'm sure they thought of a bunch of cool designs but they needed to be able to make the standard 3inch figs for them

One cool idea that you could do in the drawing matrix is creating your own Khyber Nemetrix predators. It would be cool to see predators for aliens that don't have predators like spider monkey, wild mutt, or even go crazy with it and make a predator for alien X.
I concur, the possiblities for predators of different aliens has been really cool to see in the fandom and I bet O.R.Ash would be stellar at it.
Also the idea that alien X has a natural predator but Upchuck is on the top of his food chain is hilarious

Your ultimate big chill design at around 15:48 looks like an even more advanced highbreed which would've be the ideal for them since they wanted to manipulate weather in early AF
I love the little concept sketches that keep popping up at the bottom. Anytime I see things like that I feel like if gives so much more character to the character.
My favorite thing about original Spidermonkey was how well they combined the primate and arachnid aspects so well. The ultimate completely abandoned that. I’m so glad that you fixed that to be as smooth as the original.

I absolutely love what you do with the concept of Ultimates. Taking genuine consideration into what their powers and anatomy could evolve into (Or in certain perspectives, devolve...poor legs) is awesome. Also, Ultimate Spidermonkey is now probably arachnophobe nightmare fuel. Nice.
I LOVED the idea that Ultimate Big Chill is kinda like a mist ghost creating illusions, I also imagine he lowers the temperature of the mist to make it harder to breathe for the targets, thus cutting off air from their brains and making the illusions more believable for them

I feel like Ash is really a fan of giving Ultimates density shifting. This is like...the third or fourth episode where he's given one of these boys that power. Not knocking it though! Just an interesting trend.
Also, at the very least Ult. Swampfire actually follows the power trade off rule as he loses his non-evolved form's healing factor in favor of a stronger and tougher body, more powerful flames, and fire bombs.
There is no damn trade off rule. That’s a fan made headcanon there are clearly instances it’s not the case. Tired of hearing this

@@shui804 it's for balancing purposes really, but yeah animals in real life do tend to lose certain stuff as they evolve, in order to fit with environmental changes and just to be more capable at surviving, so i think there is justification here
@@bluequacker balancing for what, there are reality warping aliens and such already so I dont see that as a reason but evolutionarily it makes sense since they are life forms and not just cosmical dust compressed into pure power like Alien X is
Something I've noticed that Ash does a lot is making very long and often large forearms. Usually patterns like this don't bother me, but he did this in 4 of the 5 designs for this video and it really stood out. I'm not saying that's a bad this as it also made Ult. Echo Echo stand out with it's HUGE legs and tiny arms which I love, but I think it's just something worth thinking about.

According to Derrick J. Watt, ultimate echo echo can actually duplicate himself using his disks and the reason why he didn’t before was because of a glitch in the ultimatrix.
Of course this should be taken with a grain of salt as the writers of Ben 10 seem to have different opinions on certain things in the franchise.

I think it would be cool if there were alternate ultimates, heck ORAsh even does two ultimates per alien sometimes. So he could alternate between the old U.Echo-Echo and Basekick
Imagine the scene where Ben uses Ultimate Spidermonkey to pin the leader/general of the Forever knights (I don’t remember if it was just a general or was their leader) to a wall, the same episode where the quote “Maybe you've forgotten something: I'm Ben Tennyson, wielder of the most powerful weapon in the universe. I stopped the Highbreed invasion, I defeated Vilgax in hand-to-hand combat and I've beaten the Forever Knights more times that I can count. Here's what's going to happen: you're going to release these prisoners, you're going to crawl back to wherever you came from and you're going to stop hunting down aliens because if you don't, I promise, you'll regret it for the rest of your very short lives.” comes from, but with this version of Ultimate Spidermonkey
I see Ultimate Big Chill’s fire as being the result of some craziness like cooling the victim down so quickly their heat is violently released as flames. Still pretty much just a reskin, but it is nice to put a why to it. Yours definitely did not disappoint, and is a much more worthy Ultimate to one of my favorite forms. Big Chill aside, I love the other ones too, especially Echo Echo. I wasn’t sure how you could go about making an Ult for him as good as the original, but you managed to do just that.
Back when I first heard that bit about how his fire works, I remembered I had read about some scientific studies about thermodynamics where they said something like, if somehow something was brought to a temperature above the maximum that the laws of physics allow, based on some interpretation of what it means to be at some temperature in some statistical terms, there was some weird mathematical quirk where above the maximum temperature the math says it in practice would wrap around and be bellow absolute zero, negative Kelvin, and because it would still have high energy it would still "cool" down, still heading towards zero, but from the other direction because it's negative, and it would absorb surrounding heat, heating up to reach a low energy state. I'm not sure how physical that is, kinda sounds a bit like how people extrapolate that since time slow down the closer you get to light speed, if you cross past lightspeed you go back in time (which is not necessarily what would actually happen, and it's not like there's any known physical way to actually even achieve lightspeed, only get infinitely close to it); but considering all the handwaving of real world laws of physics involved in the Ben10 universe(s), that sounds like it would fit right in, even better than some of the other stuff we've seen happen in the shows.
I have to say Ultimate Humungousaur is my personal favorite of the Ultimate Aliens. But. I genuinely really appreciate your interpretation and redesign of my boy. The scale armor manipulation is fun and the increased agility. So massive Kudos to you Ash.

I think original Ultimate Humongousaur was a really good design for what it was for: killing a bunch of others of the base species. Spikes to make any attempt to punch it a bad idea, missile thorns from its hands that were apparently capable of killing a normal Humongousaur in one shot, and the shell was likely durable enough that even when their size increased to maximum, it still would have held firm.
For the record, Ultimate Humugousaur isn't a turtle, his design is based on an Ankylosaurus. Humugousaur is based on a dinosaur, a Stegosaurus. When he grows in size he even grows plates and spikes on his tail just like a Stegosaurus.
I was scared he would make Ultimate Humungousaur a Godzilla Rip Off but his redesign is actually pretty clever and I enjoyed it a lot.
Still prefer the original though.

I love every redesign you create, it really feels like they could've been apart of the show if I had a time machine I'd send you back to become a designer for them. And honestly I like the concept of having more than one design for ultimate aliens because evolution doesn't just go 1 way if it did every living being would be a walking plant person with wings and a fish tail. I honestly cannot wait for the ultimate designs for Water hazard, NRG, Armadrillo, Terraspin, and Ampfibian are made. My favorite redesign of the video has to be spider-monkey.

Your ult Big Chill and ult Spidermonkey are leagues above their canon counterparts. I think the canon ult Swampfire and ult Humungousaur are already very cool and your designs definitely stand on equal footing (though I think I still prefer canon ult hum, I just like the tank turtle). Finally, I gotta say still prefer canon ult echo echo but my god did you make a worthy contender! Love this series keep up the good work

@@ksoundkaiju9256 yet from an evolution standpoint very few changes actually happen in actual evolution especially if the animal is already at it's peak for it's environment hence why cannonbolt also barely changes because it can already roll up perfectly and just making it more durable and stronger plus spikes to help with traction makes it more adapt for it's environment

These are awesome. But since this is the latest ultimate video I think I should tell you a detail about Ultimate evolution that you might’ve missed (not sure if its a canon detail though). The reason some ultimates like Ultimate Big Chill and Ultimate Cannonbolt are so underwhelming is because there is actually very little to improve upon. Some species are already at the apex of there evolution, so there is very little further evolution could “realistically” do to increase their power, and I assume the simulation would ignore any possibility that made the aliens weaker due to the evolution being solely based on combat potential.
Thats a bit of what I heard and my own headcanon.
Again another *Amazing* Ultimate alien redesign. I hope one day you can do an Ultimate overhaul on the forgotten aliens like Spitter, Fasttracks, and Chamalien.
I must say that I enjoy the concept of spider monkey ultimate form from Albedo Omniverse. Because looks like his Omnitrix was built to literally ‘counter’ Ben’s aliens like: This spider monkey now has 3 pairs of arms with a tiny pair of legs, why? Because now with 6 arms he is stronger than Four Arms and can even use the spare pair of arms to balance himself while fighting. This concept you made is amazing too! What I’m saying is that the needed to push the ultimate forms into more fighting forms like you did to Humungousaur and BigChill, the Spier Monkey that looks like an Ape it’s just a big boi that can use spider legs. But in the Omniverse and now this video I can say you guys made an amazing work!
Glad to see someone appreciating albedo's a ultimates in the omniverse, it's surprising how little they get brought up in these redesign videos!

Rewatching the series and selecting my faves for each video. For this one, I like your new ultimate spidermonkey the most. The omnijointed limbs sound like they would be really cool (read as terrifying) to see in motion. Excellent concept. As for the second favourite I'm gonna go with your ultimate echo echo. I like that it is bottom heavy design wise and without a tail as compared to a lot of the aliens designs (not just yours) which are top heavy or tail focused. I think I still like the original more, but that might be the nostalgia speaking. The original was my favourite of the canon ultimates by a mile. That there is any comparison at all really speaks to how awesome your design is.
With the whole "story" of the ultimates, seeing how the would evolve after being put through years of war, swamp fire definitely makes the most sense out of all the og ultimates
10:12 the face on the back is also cool from another biological stand point mimicry maybe on that planet theres something that eats even ultimate spider monkey but maybe no a certain spider species on that planet maybe because its poisonous or whatever so ultimate spider monkey could turn around and fool the predator idk just thought it might be a cool other reason for the face on the back

Pretty sure Ash talked about it, when he was designing Ultimates for classic aliens. Can't really remember his exact opinion but it definitely wasn't favourable.

Personally as an ultimate form I do agree that it's pretty underwhelming however I wouldn't mind it if it was the one used for regular Wildmutt because other than him being red it actually looks very similar to the one used by Ben 10 thousand in the classic series.

The benwolf plus ditto comment really makes me think how some early alien force aliens could be considered combo deals of classic ones. Swampfire = Wildvine+heatblast, Big chill is artiguana+Ghostfreak. ect.
The redesigns are the best I've seen!!! I like them all, but without a doubt the best ones are Spidermonkey and Big Chill: the original Ultimate versions of these two always seemed ridiculous and pointless to me, but these redesigns do them more justice to what is the concept of an "Alien Ultimate" 😁
By the way, the idea for Echo Echo of 'Just Dance on Skates' is magnific.
The idea of ultimate echo-echo just breakdancing while blasting GAS GAS GAS would be hilarious as an episode

Also with my fave Alien Big Chill honestly I was nervous because well he is my favorite, I remember at the time I always use him on the PSP game, and when the redesign came, it did not disappoint everything about it is just absolutely perfect, i love the thought of its powers now it's like a fusion of his former ones resulting in a Fog, Mists, and even Hot Steam or Ice Vapors that can again result on its small localized weather manipulation because of its Water Cycle type of thing!!
I have a lore concept for these forms. Basically my idea is that these are part of a different, newer UES worked on by Blukich and Driba based on Albedo’s original designs, but this one is a lot safer. But due to being a newer, different version, some of the pre-existing ultimates are different from the original ultimates.

I loved Big Chill when I was a kid, I've always been a sucker for a cloaked character, and flying characters, also his voice just made everything he had to say so... cool. The guy was literally designed to be a superhero. Echo Echo was another one that I loved though it was more for the cuteness factor then he went Ultimate and his Ultimate is genuinely intimidating looking, the best one for me.
Honestly, I like your Ultimate Spidermonkey a lot more than the one in the show. Even as a kid it was my least favorite Ultimate. Spidermonkey is an adorable monkey in Alien Force/Ultimate Alien and he goes Ultimate and he's a gorilla with spider legs coming out of his back. I'd see him move around in the show or while watching someone play a video game and he just didn't feel like he carried any real strength when he moved. I think it's because the spider legs always looked so skinny and fragile.
Can't wait to see the next round of Ultimate redesigns.
I love the redesigns but honestly for ultimate echo echo I'd have it so I can switch between the 2 versions for different enemies like a seperate evolution playlist.
Your Ultimate Big Chill is so fucking cool like I can just imagine a scene where a small enclave of generic goons are bewildered at this fog that's inexplicably rolled in, rubbing at their eyes due to the humidity of it while Gwen and Kevin use it to cover their infiltration, and once they're in, Ben just reforms his body and they all go to town from the middle of the complex.
Like I think it would absolutely benefit from it's introduction not actually showing the transformation, one of the few times I've thought that

Echo Echo in base form was weak and easy to take out individually but could afford to be due to copying.
but since his Ultimate form can't copy he obviously would have evolved a more sturdy suit.

Ooh this is gonna be interesting! 1:56 being a big dinosaur nerd, I thought the Ankylosaur aesthetic was pretty clear but It could also be a gamera reference. In fairness it's also much clearer in the omniverse design which Is my FAVORITE UTILMATE ALIEN he was so cool, they really got to male them look scary when albedo had em! 4:04 OOh the scale manipulation is a good take! Some of the armor looking fossilized is nice as well but I feel like a lot of the dinosaur aspects are lost here unfortunately..
4:25 honestly don't know why people hate ultimate swampfire he's almost as cool as ultimate humungasaur! His fsce being concealing in pockets of ember containing flammable gas is genius and gives off a much more alien vibe! His fire being blue separates him from heatblast while being a tree separates him from wildvine! Huh, not some bad tweaks you did with the moss. I do like his OG silloutte tho

13:20 well know echo echo has the one thing ditto had over him, being the life of the party! Like damn that's a really fun idea dude! Perhaps a too fun comsidering he's supoose to be coming out of a war lasting millions of years but it's hard not to get a soft spot for this idea! I doubt UAF would've had the balls to animate him dancing to often though
15:24 I think one idea thar might work with the fire gimick is that instead of breathing fire on it's own, ult big chill is able to absorb the head from the surrounding area by inhaling. And then when an enemy is frozen or left shivering with the sudden temperature change he expels all that heat out las a blazing plasma at them! Ooooh now that takes the intangibility idea to a whole new level! And I do love me a good moth man reference! Bravo!!

I think the initial sketches of Humongousaur and Swampfire are better than the final designs.
Humongousaur on all fours made him feel more like a dinosaur and made his silhouette look better. His body being more thin and lanky is a nice contrast to his base form. Also the tail coming out of his back and being so thick is mildly off putting? Idk it just feels weird. But I do really like the concept and the direction you went.
I have less to say about swampfire since the end result is still poifect. I just thinking keeping the more dense look suited him better. While ultimate swampfire in the show didn't do great when connected to swampfire, it's design still looks cool.
Spidermonkey and big chill are perfect and I love them.
I think trying to make echo echo dance with 3 legs might be hard to animate, but it does look very cool.
