Hi Gal Great video showing the 4 cameras at night and I have to say that I am very impressed with the Caddx Ratel through out the video the different camera lost the color hold except for the Ratel. Thanks again for the video.
many will say the ratel pic is is not as good as other cams, but the caddx has the most information you can use to fly, despite the additional noise. the only part it really fails in is last few mins compared to predator as the ratel doesn't switch to B/W. does the caddx offering switch to BW ever? is that a setting?
The graininess of the Caddx Baby Ratel maybe due to the over exposer of the lights. It has a sensor of 0.0001 Lux! So the CBR could better perform in much less light...THX! Gal!
Thanks Gal Kremer! Ratel is obviously the one to go. The dinamic range is superior to the others, there is info in the darks, while the brights are not burnt - this is true for day too. Second is the predator4 nano, but its quite burnt in comparison. Racer is dark, no details. The other one is even darker.
Thanks... great comparison. Run Cam Racer Nano2 has such a smooth image, but in all the noise of the Ratel is information and in some regards like at 3:45 the Baby Ratel seems to hand over better 3D depth perception of the middle tree in relationship to the 2 closer outer trees... it's not a pretty picture but it's a good picture for flying in thanks to its WDR ... Runcam looks more accurate but has a more 2D image. Need real world latency specs to add in for final verdict ;-)
I'm mixed! P4N was usually the sharpest and was good in the really worst lit areas, but felt B&W most of the time. The Kangaroo is "just kinda there". The Racer 2 was also sharp, but that and the PN4 had problems with dynamic lighting changes where the view went all dark. The Ratel was the only one that felt like a COLOUR camera and t=had the best dynamics ... but was kinda grainy. In the end I'm conflicted between the PN4 for it's sharpness, but want the raw colour and reliable dynamic range of the Ratel. Knowing how I liked the Ratel in better lighting for an all-around choice that also offers low-light I think I could be happy with that. In exclusive or majority low-light maybe the PN4.
I tested my baby ratel in house. Went to black and white and came rate to like 5 a sec lol. You looked in color mode? Locked in color in house looked same as tarsier
I'm still impressed by my 19mm Ratel cams, this baby Ratel seems to have the same very good allround WDR. I don't need a real night cam. Ordered a baby Ratel. Thanks for testing!
Thanks for the comparison of the cameras. Do you know where i can buy a camera mount for the caddx baby ratel? Dimensions? I considering buying the camera but need a mount. As i understand it does not come with one. The larger caddx ratel does.
Gday Gal, i saw your jackals with the predator nano 4 you could see them clearly in black and white, can you adjust the baby ratel has to much blue, kangaroo under lights awsome and the predator nano 4 in pitch black very good, great work mate.👍🛸
Now we need a line up.of the HD cams fpv feed I know my old split2 worked way better then it replacement split2s sadly I had no choice but to upgrade... thanks for everything you do! 🍻 cheers 🥃
My Runcam Split Whoop Edition has the best feed I've seen out of all of them! Highly disappointed with the Caddx Whoop version though... Afaik, Split2s is the only one with low latency though
For a dedicated night flyer, I would definitely go for the Predator.
Totally agree. Kangaroo was admittedly a close second, though.
Close battle between the nano predetor 4 and the baby ratel.
I would be happy to fly them both in the
Night
Fantastic testing and comparison, Gal! 😃
Pretty impressive little cameras!!!
Thanks Mario!
Ratel still the best, its WDR is impressive even if it's a bit noisy.

Thanks buddy!
Jackal at 3:43.
I have a Kangaroo & Baby Ratel and think Kangaroo is best at night.
Yep, it got pretty close to me :-)
Predator for sure, then maybe the Ratel!
Looks like the Ratel provides more information, especially in contral light

yes,for sure
Yes, I set all the cameras to color mode as described in my video.
Are you able to make 4 times the exact same flight or did you stack 4 camera and vtx on the same quad for the comparaison ?😂
The graininess of the Caddx Baby Ratel maybe due to the over exposer of the lights. It has a sensor of 0.0001 Lux! So the CBR could better perform in much less light...THX! Gal!
Thanks Jim. I will upload a review of the Baby Turtle soon ;-)
what about toothless and similar? How does it compare to these at night?
I can't compare everything side by side :-)
Ratel all the way....others are not even close 🥳
Thanks Gal Kremer! Ratel is obviously the one to go. The dinamic range is superior to the others, there is info in the darks, while the brights are not burnt - this is true for day too. My pleasure. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for your input. Well I measured the latency when reviewing each camera separately :-)
Which one did you fly with?? 👌🏼
Micro Predator V4 with an IR sensitive lens
Wow for the Predator Nano4... My baby ratel is on the way 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Enjoy it!

Parece que a racer nano 2 é top.
Awesome video Gal. I'm voting for the Racer Nano2! Happy 2020!!!
Thanks Joseph! Happy 2020!
I tested my baby ratel in house. Went to black and white and came rate to like 5 a sec lol.
You looked in color mode?
Locked in color in house looked same as tarsier
Yes I tested the cameras only in color mode.
I'm still impressed by my 19mm Ratel cams, this baby Ratel seems to have the same very good allround WDR. I don't need a real night cam. Ordered a baby Ratel. Thanks for testing!
My pleasure. More flight footage of the Baby Ratel will be up soon.
What settings you use. I got it for flying my house at night but to my eye doesn't look better the tarsier or runcam in tinyhawk2
Thanks for the comparison of the cameras. Do you know where i can buy a camera mount for the caddx baby ratel? Dimensions? I considering buying the camera but need a mount. As i understand it does not come with one. The larger caddx ratel does.
My pleasure. Do you need a nano to micro mount?
@@KremerFPV thx for answering. Need a direct 14mm mount. Cant find any. Only micro to nano adapter.
@@andytheman72 You might need to 3d print one. Nano cameras only became popular recently.
@@KremerFPV Yeah, i'll figure something out.👍
Which camera did you feed into your goggles when flying to do this comparison?
Foxeer Predator micro v4 with an IR sensitive lens.
seems like baby ratel is not the top line night camera!) Gal, what about wildfire test?) when?
why not when it has the best picture from all 4 cameras
It wasn't bad. WF test will be up as soon as I will get it.
no RunCam Night Eagle 2 PRO?
It's not a nano camera :-)
@@KremerFPV OOHHHHH. lol, my bad
A normal shoot out would be cool. Especially if you could throw the runcam nano 2 or 3 in there.
There you go: ua-cam.com/video/_5nUG-raNpI/v-deo.html
Are these all fpv feed?
DVR
great test once again. The ratel looks a bit noisy at night. Racer 2 is my pick.
Thanks!
heeey guys.... can i use one of these cameras as an action camera on my head ??? if yes, how?
I want it, because no offered action camera is not able to shoot such good videos at night ...
Already replied to you :-)
Ratel win the first segment, but when the predator b/w mode kicked it, you could see everything
Wonder was the Ratel set to auto B/W ?
@@kayemdronestuff3597 the baby ratel is very laggy from what I've seen in b/w
Racer Nano 2 performs better IMO, better exposure control and better contrast. Others are kind of overexposure.
Dayum that predator... ofcourse the one I dont have haha
Longin Albu I love my predator for flying when it’s late at night! Nothing even comes close!
@@Acestrex I'm going to buy one and switch when needed. How the predator for daytime flying?
Gday Gal, i saw your jackals with the predator nano 4 you could see them clearly in black and white, can you adjust the baby ratel has to much blue, kangaroo under lights awsome and the predator nano 4 in pitch black very good, great work mate.👍🛸
Thanks Mate. More flight footage of the Baby Ratel will be up soon. Maybe you can tweak its settings to reduce the blueish color.
Hi Gal 4 camera for Flight the night, well I prefere the Caddx Kangaroo me, it's what I think. 😉
2:37 top left camera isn’t that the kangaroo?
No. Please see the text next to it.
Gal Kremer Got it predator 4 with the sensitive lens it makes a big difference.
Now we need a line up.of the HD cams fpv feed I know my old split2 worked way better then it replacement split2s sadly I had no choice but to upgrade... thanks for everything you do!

agood to know thank you
My pleasure Jack. I compared pretty much all the HD FPV cameras out there :-)
Nice job gal!!
Thanks Ace!
Supeeer! Thanks!
Wooow thank you👍👍🙏👏🍻❤️
My pleasure doc :-)
