- Finally aj faisla hogya ha ky kon ha winner? Earlier we had two competitions between the most popular sedans of Pakistan with famous UA-camr Ducky Bhai. Civic and Corolla were exactly the same in last two tug of war rounds so we are here with a drag race.

Farhan sb wasn't told to launch it by accelerating in advance, hence he lost the 2 rounds. Ducky was launching properly because he was told how to do it. Should've told Farhan too. End pe dono launch huween toh clear result aaya

As a previous civic oriel owner, i must say civic is definitely faster on the higher speeds. On lower speed grande does takes the lead. (currently a grande and rs owner).

Mene pehlay hi kaha hai k toyota ki acceleration behtar hai aur wo dohc engine ki waja se hi hai which means more air intake for the combustion. Isi waja se slower speeds pr toyota foran pick pakarti hai. Iska hargis ye matlb nai hai acceleration ziada honay ki waja se higher speed bhi ho !!! Kuch engine better acceleration k liay tuned hotay hain aur kuch higher speeds k liay (compromising the acceleration).
The only thing I don’t like about this civic is that the engine has potential but honda didn’t give atleast one manual option, trip shifter or pedal shifters so you can shift per choice🙃

I have driven both multiple times and they are equal from 0 to 100, after 100 Civic starts pulling ahead and once Civic starts pulling away from Grande it keeps on pulling away, Grande doesn't come back then. Here in the 3rd race when both cars launched at exactly the same time Civic won the race. In all other rounds the car that launched earlier won, overall Civic is faster than Grande but till 100 they are equally matched.

@@madmax-hf8gc I have also kept both, Civic ko dsl karke launch karo to Civic always wins, Grande stays level with Civic till 100, after 100 Civic always starts pulling away from Grande, i have a lot of experience with both.
@@aliwaqas2636 That's because that guy is not a Civic expert, he is a pro driver but he is not a pro with Civic, he didn't do dsl method with Civic, Ducky bhai and Farhan launched at the same time and Civic won even though Ducky is not a pro driver, so having experience of your machine is important. Civic always wins if you use dsl method.
Grande has a much newer 2zr engine and also it has a conventional 1st gear after which CVT functions! Civic's R18 is outdated and underpowered for the cars size which was increased compared to Reborn and Rebrith ( both also came with R18 )!
All three models have same engine?
@@CFD_Mechanic Reborn has the original R18A... Rebirt and X both have slightly tweeked R18s which are exactly same to R18A. R18 was discontinued after Rebirth in most countries except Pakistan and Thailand.

Doesn’t matter civic ecu was updated in facelifted models it is faster than grande
The Corolla is 100kg lighter and better torque initially. Hence predictable that it moves ahead. A longer race and the civic will overtake. It has better aerodynamics and the CVT quickly brings the engine to full power at 6k rpm.
