Toni Collette should have got an Oscar for this performance. The visceral, primitive, animalistic pain in her voice when she discovers the body is insanely realistic... and haunting.
He never told his mother about the accident. He was in shock, he drove home and got straight into bed, leaving his mother to find the body spontaneously in the morning. That’s why she was so fucked up about it and angry with him and why you see him laying in bed listening and waiting for the screams he knew would come. This family doesnt talk to each other it’s like, the main problem.
Midsommar I think isn't as scary as it is unsettling and completely disturbing... I think even some cast members needed therapy after filming it 💀😂 HOWEVER it's fantastically made and I absolutely recommend it if you appreciate Horror!!! Also yes, that's a bong 😂
Ya it definitely wasn't scary I mean there where some somewhat scary parts but it was just extremely disturbing. Although I think Terrifier 2 is more disturbing. But it definitely was disturbing and kept me on my toes
The AirPod toss and hunched, confused position at the end of the movie pretty much sums up everything a person would need to know about this movie. Lmao.
This is one of my favourite horror movies! Yay! Love it or hate it you gotta admit Toni Collette put her EVERYTHING in to her role, that kitchen table scene scared the shit out of me, and I still see the ceiling head banging scene in my head when Im washing my face every now and again. Such a good freaking movie
out of everyone in the family, I feel the worst for Peter. he had to watch his whole family get tortured and basically die and then finally get taken over by a demon spirit. in the scene at the dinner table, I see everyone's point tbh. Peter is just a child at the end of the day and while he technically did kill his sister it was an accident and he was in shock when it happened so I can't say that I would do anything differently than he did at his age. yes, Annie lost her daughter but she is also Peter's mother and should still be trying to look after him as well. I honestly think the whole family should have gone to counseling and that would have helped with a lot of their trauma and issues. anyway, great reaction! one of the best I've seen of this movie haha and yes, I watched it alone during the day with all the windows open and the sun shining in 😅❤
I saw Hereditary in the theater. When I say that was a collective experience....man. The friend I saw it with would hiccup really loudly at random points, and at one point it was really quiet and he hiccuped. Everyone almost shat their pants.
Hereditary, MIDSOMMAR, The Witch, Babadook, Conjuring, Exorcism of Emily Rose... Those are truly outstanding films with strong performances and disturbing elements of fear, grief, loss and trauma. BTW you're so incredibly adorably cute when you're scared 😁
I recommend watching “Hereditary Ending Explained” videos there’s a lot of details that you miss on the first watch. Like the ppl in the woods around the house at the end, how when they are in the parking lot Joan had bought a chalkboard (so she was lying about her family being dead ) & alot of other great details!
29:49 she wasn’t stabbing herself. She was using wire, like the kind you use to cut clay, like a piano wire, and basically sawing off her own head. You didn’t hear the noise continue when he ran and then the thump of her body falling away from her head?
First time I watched I was stoned. It's was such a great experience. I adore the movie so much. It's imo one of the greatest movies ever made. So complex, raw, and draining. It's like as you watch the family being drained of life throughout the film you are also being drained.
Hi honey! These are some movies you should add to your scary movie list: - The Taking of Deborah Logan - Midsommar (the same director of hereditary) - Malignant (considered as a camp horror film) - The Autopsy of Jane Doe Love u 💕
I watched this movie by myself at home!!! FUCK it was scary!! I loved this reaction! Hope everyone else does too!! Having lots of fun watching all of these shows with You. For many reasons I am in a pretty isolating situation. I used to have a bunch of friends that I saw all the time (many who were just like You ❤). And watching shows like this with Your reaction as part of them is making me feel so much less isolated. Thank You 😊 🙏
This is how much of a scardy cat I am .. I couldn't even watch your reaction, I was getting too spooked. I had to hit the 10s skip through the tense parts & it's broad daylight here hahaha 😅 Love your content!! Do 'Get Out' Brad if you haven't seen it, it's great!
Hereditary is so good! I wouldn’t watch it again probably but it’s good. I don’t like when people say Peters trauma response to Charlie’s death is weird or psychotic.
i literally just watched the movie before watching this video cause i wanted to know what was gonna happen before i watched your reaction. at 1am. alone. if this isnt commitment idk what is loll p.s.: i absolutely adore your videos, you're too funny
Your reactions are everything. Was so disturbed the first two times I saw this and now want to see it again lol. This is the only horror movie ever that made me go to bed with the lights on. The second time was even more unsettling since I saw it alone! Stupid stupid idea!! I’m just so desensitized that I thought I’d be fine. NOPE!!!
I watched The Night House in cinemas and was telling a lot of people about it. It has scary moments indeed, but I would say it's one of the most artistic/deep horror movies. I recommend!
Your reactions kill me! They have me rollin every single time! I have watched so many now and I just happened by one of your videos by chance. Please, never stop doing them. I would watch your movie reactions on a continuous loop🤣🤣🤣🤣💀⚰️
lol I just watched this because I finally watched this movie. I swear you and I had the same reaction throughout! I did not look in the background, because I kept saying “nope! Not doing it! And looking away. I even stopped it to see how much time was left, and turned down the volume right around the same times!
Hi Brad, great video, I loove this movie Actually, I believe the scariest film of all time is The Exorcist, but here are some recommendations: - The Night House (it's not as scary or as gory as this one, but it's definitely unsettling) - The Invisible Man (2020) - Us (you will have fun) - The Babadook (the one that was named in Scream 5) - Midsommar - Halloween (1978) - Ready or Not? (it is directed by the ones who made Scream 5, and it's one of my favorite movies)
I’m literally about to fall asleep but I’ll comment anyways I’m the first babyy 💋 this movie traumatized me and I’m so ready to watch your reaction in the morning 😫 thanks for suffering for us 👏👏👏 ly 💜 it’s 12:35 AM here in Germany
These horror movie reactions are everything🙌🏼 You should try checking out some classic horror movies as well from the 70s/80s. They’re not as scary, but soooo entertaining!!
I still have this movie in my head five days after watching it. I became obsessed and watched a bunch of reaction videos like this and had to stop because I was making myself scared again and couldn't sleep at night. So stupid. (BUt the movie is so well done)
Hey boo this movie was freaking bonkers. And surpassingly so depressing. But a great movie. I love your vids so much. You are my favorite UA-camr have a great day.
loved this reaction! I definitely recommend watching MIDSOMMAR, its from the same director as hereditary and its a completely unique film, its definitely not as scary as hereditary but I will say that its absolutely sick and twisted.. its made brilliantly though and if you appreciate cinematography and horror its an amazing movie to react to!
Had the exact same reaction thinking oh what a sweet woman at first. Never noticed that shot found in editing, creepy. Horror Franchises. For scares Paranormal Activity. For dark comedy Childs Play. For fun and gore Final Destination.

You should definitely watch all the horror classics make it a series. Halloween, nightmare on elm street, Childs play etc loved your reactions to scream

OMG Bradd that was so great. Hereditary is one of my fav movies. And you're really brave for watching this ALONE hahaha Love u💖💖 Also You should watch CLIMAX by Gaspar Noe and of TITANE!! PLEASE

I know I'm late but you should definitely watch The Black Phone. I absolutely shit my pants while watching it, and it is absolutely scary but coming of age and hopeful at the same time.
As far as horror you should watch “Lights out” “Insidious 1-3” “Evil dead 2013” “Hell house” Tv shows: Spartacus on Starz, The Boys on Amazon, & True blood on HBO if you haven’t seen it
I made this mistake when I was watching it too. I thought that the mom at the end was stabbing herself too but apparently she’s sawing off her head with piano wire.
Omg interesting enough. The boy who played the son suffered mild ptsd doing this movie. And yes I watch all horror movies alone! Lol. Before I go to sleep
I not only watched this alone, but I started at 1:00 AM with the lights off...I'd heard that it wasn't supposed to be scary. Seen it plenty of times since, though; it's a great film. I don't know why The Night House would be on a list of scariest movies. It's a really terrific film, but I didn't find it scary at all.
I love you so much 😂😂😂 I desperately need to watch movies with you. I just know if we met we’d be besties. Here’s hoping one day 🤞🏼 can’t wait for the next horror movie! You should check out “No one sleeps in the woods tonight” on Netflix! The second is also on there but I haven’t gotten to that one yet.
Hey, listen when I managed to find some high-quality green on the street, I absolutely would bring it to my friends and brag about what I found and then we would all smoke it together😂
I usually don't watch horror or "disturbing-ish" kind of movies because I get scared easily and I don't like dumb movies with a lot of "jump scares" is not my cup of tea BUT looooove Ari Aster and Robert Eggers films. Even when they are kind of experimental sometimes and I can feel a little bit lost watching their movies (Eggers, I'm talking about you 😆), I don't care, they make me enjoy their films ❤️ . You should definitely watch Midsommar (so good, less scary than this one, but it has at least 4 WTF moments...there was one long scene when I closed my eyes so I've never watched that but I could hear it!) and The Conjuring (I enjoyed the 1st one)... also, and because I love ZZAVID's reactions you should watch: THE TAKING OF DEBORAH LOGAN and maybe The Haunting of Hill House (10 episodes). 27:10 I remember that was the moment when I started to freak out like really really bad so I put some random "party music" on my phone so it wasn't so scary anymore (I think spotify choose Sexy Back by JT 😑😂) PS: loving the baby monstera deliciosa at the background 🪴✨😍
Toni Collette should have got an Oscar for this performance. The visceral, primitive, animalistic pain in her voice when she discovers the body is insanely realistic... and haunting.

Yes! The fact that the director wrote it after a BREAK UP makes it wilder!
@@Kindlyitalia That makes it SOOOOOO much better
Omg I need to see your reaction to Midsommar!
Midsommar I will never watch again.
Ya it definitely wasn't scary I mean there where some somewhat scary parts but it was just extremely disturbing. Although I think Terrifier 2 is more disturbing. But it definitely was disturbing and kept me on my toes

I agree with Peter... If Annie didn't make Charlie go to the party when she didn't want to... it never would have happened.
I saw Hereditary in the theater. When I say that was a collective experience....man. The friend I saw it with would hiccup really loudly at random points, and at one point it was really quiet and he hiccuped. Everyone almost shat their pants.
😂😂
watching this movie in the cinema was so intense... after the head scene everybody went dead silent
Brad: Guys I don't wanna do this anymore
Also Brad: Guys, do you want me to watch the scariest horror film?
Hereditary, MIDSOMMAR, The Witch, Babadook, Conjuring, Exorcism of Emily Rose... Those are truly outstanding films with strong performances and disturbing elements of fear, grief, loss and trauma. BTW you're so incredibly adorably cute when you're scared 😁

The Paimon symbol is on the telephone pole when Charlie dies. It's a quick flash when they're headed to the party.

The Babadook is Australians scariest movie, and it's amazing. I'd say the horror movie "Us" and "Babadook" are the scariest movies I've seen
Now you can add Talk to Me to one of Australia’s best horror films
Hi honey! These are some movies you should add to your scary movie list:
- The Taking of Deborah Logan
- Midsommar (the same director of hereditary)
- Malignant (considered as a camp horror film)
- The Autopsy of Jane Doe

ooh yeah, the taking of deborah logan
good list, these are all some of my fav horror movies!!
The Autopsy of Jane Doe is criminally underrated
Taking of Deborah Logan is sooo good as well as the autopsy of Jane doe

Thank God you had the magic hoodie of invincibility to save you! Lol! I also watched this by myself one night about 2am, it was not a good decision!
The editing in this video is hilarious.
Commenting because you deserve all the likes and comments for making it through to the end
Lol the woman rubbed oils on the dead womans lips to help the dead talk lol it's ritualistic.

Horror films are not my thing but somehow watching them with you makes them fun! I get to appreciate the film without being completely scarred 😂
I watched this on my own and to this day I'm still traumatized, everytime I see the actress in anything else I have flashbacks to this movie 😩😩
Slasher on Netflix would be a great series reaction. sooooo good 💀🥲😂
I was traumatized When I tell you I’m not the same when the movie was over the sound of the clicking or whistle triggers me till this day!!
It was incredibly made and I love it ,but I just can’t bring myself to rewatch cuz is really a hell ride
