I have watched him mesmerize everyone with his game since his first debut in Manchester United back in 2003. I was a teenage kid back then and saw him grow into a monster like no other. Even now at 37, back again at the Theatre of Dreams, he has that same passion and intensity to rile a team and rise up at the moments when the team needs him the most. Never in my life will I see another footballer like him. It will be a really sad day when he retires. Simply the greatest I have ever witnessed and ever will, and I have seen some legends play. I am sure many others can relate. It is a true privilege to be alive in this era. Running down the wing, hear United sing… VIVA RONALDO!!
you forgot to add the most important moment of this qualification, the moment ronaldo's winning goal against serbia was disallowed even though it clearly crossed the line. if that goal had counted portugal would not have played play-offs
